Why the revision? Are you having to pay for?

I had a wound issue on the TT and some nipple issues. We are mainly fixing those issues. I am paying for the or and anesthesia. I have a pudge at the TT scar so looking forward to having a smooth tummy. Lots of LIPO also!! Yippee!!

I have some hard spots too. Feels like rocks along the incision. They said it is scar tissue. I am being opened up about 4-6 inches. And he will be pulling down and removing some more skina,

Hello Ladies. How are the March 2013 TT doing? I am happy with my results, but I have the biggest FLANKS. I'm considering having an extended TT to correct this issue. It seems like everything I eat goes straight to my flanks. Does anyone else have this problem?

my flanks are the same as they were pre-surgery. I think my surgeon said there was total of 800 cc's removed with tummy tuck/flank area and I looked great at the 3 month mark, and then it was all down hill from there. It's like I am super-sensitive to carrying water weight there with any caffeine or hormone surge.

I totally have this problem! I've already gotten the ball rolling on a posterior body lift and an arm tuck with my surgeon.

Anyone still getting bad swelling. I get it bad on my left side still. I have to wear my binders still :(

I am now 6 months post op. I still weigh 161 and I can't lose any weight to save my life. I have just given up. I'm not going to look how I want to look. It also doesn't help that surgeon told me I would probably need lipo on my flanks because the tt didn't do anything to fix that. I just look like I have a flat tummy and wide hips now. I really wish they would've told me this crap before I had the tt. If they did I seriously would've reconsidered. What's the point of having a flat tummy and huge hips and fat on your flanks? Grrrrrrrrrr So I guess I will just leave here and say....if there's anyone here that's contemplating this please do yourself a favor and make sure that you have all the information before doing the surgery. Also have a realistic expectation of what you are going to look like and have a good support system. It's twice as hard if you don't have a good support system. Good luck to all you fellow TT's out there...I hope it all works out for you. Take care.

Hi Keaton I'm exactly in your shoes. I thought of what I spent I would look mch better. I'm very disappointed and I had lipo and TT. I lost 18 lbs after and now I can not lose I am struggling. I look like I need lipo again. My flanks are so flabby and I had lipo??? I have ball of scar tissue on my incision I look deform Plastic surgeon says nothing he can do. Very disappointed

Just curious since I am only five weeks how many of you ladies are still swelling? How is the sleep? And when did you get rid of your binders and CG garments or are you still wearing them?
  • Reply
hi..i'm at 14 weeks and i still swell!! painful swelling above my bb. its like a rounded bulge =(
  • Reply
Oh no did your doctor say how long before the swelling ease's up? Are you still wearing binder ect?
  • Reply
Thank you for replying by the way :-) the swelling has to be better than at 6 weeks right?
  • Reply
Well they all say up to 6-12 months. I am still wearing my binder. It feels better with it. A lot of people here say everybody heels differently. I'm just one of those ppl who heels longer. Lol. To answer ur question about sleep..I started sleeping in my side, comfortably at 10 weeks. I still hurt in my upper ab (my main problem) in the middle if the night.

YW :). It depends on your body. I also had BA. Those healed in a week!
  • Reply
I had a BA a too and I feel like it is harder to sleep on my side because of them not my tt. Is it the MR causing you pain in your upper abdomen? Or is it defiantly swelling?
  • Reply
Hi. It may be the MR causing the swelling and pain. Last night the pain kept me up. I don't know if it's soreness and pain from being back to working out (first time back since surgery).
