Hi TT Family. I am now 7 days post op. Is it natural for my hips to hurt? I'm ok when sitting, but the moment I stand and walk my hips hurt. Is this possbily from Lipo? Other than that, I am doing GREAT. So happy with my results so far. Watch out SUMMER.

Hi girls.. My incision finally closed all up. No more seeping. Thank goodness. I was going crazy thinking it would never heal. I go back to see my PS today because he had to make a small incision and pull a stitch out that wasnt desolving that is why my incision wouldnt close all the way. But I went jet skiing last weekend and I did okay. I didnt fall off or anything so I was good. I wasnt too sore but did feel my abs the next day...So much fun by the way. I still get swollen during the day/evening when I dont wear my spanks but otherwise doing very well.. I am going back to zumba this week which is exciting.

I was swelling up then leaking out of my belly button every 2 weeks for 6 months it started 4 months PO now its been 2 months since its leaked I think me massaging and pressing the lil lumps that would swell a lil would aggravate it then it would swell alot start hurting then finalky would find its way out, I seen a surgeon and he said it would probably never heal and I can have surgery to correct it but worse case scenario I can loose my belly button that kinda scared me off but its still lumpy and one spot hurts a lil if I press it, I got my surgery in the DR

Hi Girls I am 11 weeks 3 days PO!!! Swelling is getting a little better but I just recently started doing abs and running so the swelling is picking up again. I do have one question...

Have any of you had to get a cortizone shot in your bellybutton? My PS wants me to get one as my belly button has a lot of tissue that is somewhat thick

Hello Ladies... I had my TT with Lipo and MR on April 3rd, 2012. Doc gave me the ok to start Zumba next week. I am so excited. I have put on about 10 lbs since surgery. I am still swollen and tight in the ab area. I have a few pinholes in my lower incision which just wont stop leaking little droplets of blood. No infection. I am keeping it covered with triple antibotic cream and sterlie dressings. Do you think I should stop covering it and maybe they will just dry up and heal? Any one else have this problem??? I am 8 weeks and 3 days PO.

I had my drains coming out of my incision so when they took them out I had to cover them with antibiotic and gauze and change it every day until they closed and were dry, so If I were you i would keep on doing until they are closed, it takes time for that but you don't want to stop doing that and then get an a serious infection....

Hi AnaNicky . . . I was using neosporin almost constantly on my incision area, where my drains were & also where I had lipo because it just seemed like those areas were taking forever to heal. The last time I saw my PS, she told me to stop using the neosporin period because if you use too much of an antibiotic (even cream apparently), your body will stop producing its own antibodies & will "forget" how to fight an infection on its own. It made sense to me . . . besides, she's the doctor. Anyway, you might want to run it past your doctor first. It sounds kind of strange to me that you still have pinholes that are leaking blood AND she cleared you for Zumba with that going on . . . hmmmm . . . . good luck . . . hope all is well!!

Hello ladies, I hope you are all healing nicely...I had my TT March 21, so I'm about 10 weeks post op, and the first few weeks after my procedure is all but a blurr now. I'm still not 100 % though. My flanks are still numb and my abs feels very tight. I almost feel the muscles snag when I stretch. I haven't gone back to my regular exercise routine. I fell off the wagon and have a hard time going back. My PS said I can pretty much do anything I want, except take sparring kicks to the stomach (I take Tae Kwon Do). I would have to wait at least 6 months for that.
My clothes definitely feel fit and look better. Funny though, my upper body is a size 8, and the lower a 6. I've lost 10 pounds; I'm watching what i eat now, coz I don't want to gain it all back. I've read somewhere that after the TT, you get fuller quickly...not my case. I still eat a lot and I don't get fuller any sooner. So I really need to watch it.
Sex is definitely spicier...I guess its phychological hahah, but hey I'll take that as a positive.
Anyway, just want to check in...it's been awhile....I'm enjoying the new bod...hope you ladies are too...

Hi Everyone I am at my 9 weeks PO and was given the ok to start doing light ab workouts. I tried doing situps last night and my stomach muscles are so week! Does anyone have some ab workout suggestions that I should start out with??? Thanks and hope everyone is doing well!.

Also my PS is going to have me get a steroid shot in my bellybutton as it is pretty small and lots of scar tissue. He said it will help break it up and not be so hard and tight. Has anyone else had this issue?

HI!! I'm 9 wkks as well but I'm staring it easy , I started to walk yesterday and litlle by little I will increase the workouts until I am able to do Crossfit, what you can do for your abs is standing abs workout, you can watch some in youtube I believe it will be less painful than the laying down...

Hello March Tuckers.....I am 4 weeks post-op and just wondered if any of you have an issue with a puffy belly button? I have always been an innie and now it kinda looks like an outie bb. My PS said it will go back to an innie but I'm starting to wonder. Has anyone else had this issue or a similar one? I'm getting worried!! Thanks for your comments I really appreciate it!,

OMG Jennifer...same thing here. I am almost six weeks post op & it seems the bulges in the belly button get bigger and bigger. To the point that it gets irritated when my pants rub on it. I tried putting in a small marble, but it does not stay in there. Mine definitely looks like an outie and I am e-mailing my PS to see what he says. Let me know if you find anything out. Take care. You look great.
