On cloud nine at 9 1/2 weeks post op!!! Had my last appointment with my surgeon today and he is really impressed with my incisions. He said they look like 6 month incisions!!! Go me! I'll take it. I have been doing all my favorite things, coaching baseball, I have 15 boys on the team this year so I am thrilled! We are short a couple coaches so we are reaching out for help. Looks like the local high school baseball team is going to step up!!! How cool is that??? Anyways, I have been busy, how is everyone here? I hope you are healing well!! I posted some comparison photos that my surgeon took pre op and then today. Enjoy!

Hi Lasin plus others lol. I have started changing for bed usually I put the nite bra like always but sometimes lately I've been forgetting and realize nope not tonite I need the bra. Just I feel naked without now. But they don't look at all bad in a nite gown yeah for me ,, my life is gettin normal and different all at the same time I'm very happy I did it.
Mamaish 13 May 2013
I am still wearing a bra at night too. If i dont, the weight will still pull on my incisions. Even tho they are motly healed i dont want to risk it...however..the other day i was at macys and tried on and bought a little sleep shirt..ok it is still an xl, but my breasts fit so well..not ballooning out...so i too am loving the changes..trying to be patient...

Wow it's six weeks going on seven that I've had my BR. I feel great I went out and bought new jeans and sandals for summer I'm promising not to dress so baggy and wear clothes that fit. Lol. My boobs feel pain free! I'm sleepin any way I want but must have the bra at nite too. Only thing my nipples were graphed and I'm waitin for them to stick out normal I think this takes time. I know I have feelin though so that's a good sign

Good for you, Kit3333!!! No more baggy clothes. Love your beautiful body! :=) I recently started sleeping without a bra cause my nipples needed a break, but my PS said it's good to sleep with one. She said it helps reduce sagging. Enjoy your nice new clothes! :)

Hi Lasin!!!! :) :) Sounds like you are doing well!! I'm 5 weeks post op and I'm doing great aside from a fairly severe allergic reaction to tape glue. I'm so happy with my new boobies though that the allergic reaction (rash) has not diminished my enthusiasm one bit!! Hope all is well with you Lasin!!!

Hi Kit, Happy for you that you are pain free and feeling well!! I'm still wearing a bra 24 hrs a day right now (5 weeks post op). I've been wearing more fitted clothes too and it's SO nice to be able to wear things I wasn't previously able to. I'm still sleeping on my back... lol I guess I've gotten used to it because I don't have the urge to turn on my side anymore (and I used to be a die hard side sleeper!!). I am so, so thankful I was able to have a BR and I love my new boobies. Wishing you a continued great recovery!!

Hey birch...i had a terrible reaction to the tape too. It started on day two! It was small and then spread..it was horrible. Finally after all the creams..i started using gold bond powder on just the rash...not the incisions...it dried it up and worked great...give it a try...
Birch 12 May 2013
Hi Mamaish! Thank you for the tip on Gold Bond powder. My allergic reaction did not start until I was 3 weeks post op and I had worn paper tape for a few days... however at that time, I reacted to the glue residue left over from surgery as well. My rash did not start going away until my PS instructed me to use a wash cloth in the shower to clean every bit of glue residue off of my skin and off of my incisions. Probably sounds ridiculous, but I did not realize I still had glue on my skin at 4 weeks post op. I couldn't see it or feel it, but there was definitely glue residue that came off (even on my sides, where I guess the glue had dripped down during surgery) and now my skin is SO much calmer. All along, my incisions have looked great, so at least the rash didn't seem to affect them.

Well ladies, today was my official bra fitting. I am fitting into a C cup, and can get away with a B in some brands. I am over the moon with happiness! I purchased 6 bras today. I bought a black and a white t shirt bra, and the other 4 are all beautiful coloured ones. I've never owned such pretty bras before :) I've washed them all ready for wear tomorrow. I also went to target and hot a 3 pack of little crop top looking bras, almost identical to the ahh bra for $10. I plan on wearing these at night. I'm still obviously in my surgical bras, and don't feel comfortable to not sleep with something for protection. Want to keep these new boobies perky! Before the op I couldn't wait to get out of my bra every single day. And now, I feel funny if I don't have my surgical bra on for support!
Birch 12 May 2013
Hi Amella, Congratulations on your new little boobies!! What a fun and girly thing, to be able to have beautiful colored bras!!! I was in Target the other day, and I was so happy to wander around, and look at all of the cute tops and bras that I can wear now!! It's a whole new world lol!! Enjoy your perky little boobies!! :)
Amella24 12 May 2013
It's heading into winter here so sadly it's all warm clothes, but I am making the most of long sleeve tees etc for now. Some days it feels like I've always had these little boobies!

My girls and I hiked up and down Mt. Washington this past week! I think I'm healed.... for the most part. :-) Although I still wish I was smaller, it was so nice to have less to cart around. How are you all doing? I've been unplugged and am so wondering about everyone. :)
Amella24 10 May 2013
Well done Lasin! How different is life minus the excess we all had not that long ago!
Lasin Take Off 10 May 2013
Thanks, Amella24! It was really fun! Life is so much better.... although I would be happy with less, I am now trying hard to get rid of excess weight to bring them down a little more. How are you doing?
Amella24 10 May 2013
Doing well! Only problem is if I stretch my arms too far I get a twinge on the left side where I pulled a muscle. But all good other wise. Will be wearing my first bra tomorrow!
geret14 10 May 2013
That is AWESOME Lasin!!! Way to go!! I hit that mark finally as well. I have been coaching baseball. Running and swinging a bat and feeling wonderful. I did take a ball in the boob on Wednesday and that really hurt bad. I wore more protection yesterday and we are now off until Monday. Overall, I am so happy!!! I hope you can love your new size eventually. My change was so dramatic that everyone noticed immediately and I was very happy. My hubby on the other hand says they are too SMALL!!! OMG!

Gerest 14, ouch!!!!!!!! That would happen, wouldn't it!?!?!? Hope you are ok after such a hit. It's super great to hear you are doing well and having fun and back to enjoying life - just in time for summer, baby!!! haha - you're husband will adjust. Ain't no way you're going back!! :)
Birch 11 May 2013
Hi Lasin!! Awesome to hear you are doing well and had a fun hike with your girls! I'm 5 weeks post op and I am beyond thankful that I was able to have a BR. I have a fairly severe rash right now due to an allergic reaction to tape or glue, but my incisions look fantastic and I'm so happy with my new boobies that the allergic reaction has not diminished my enthusiasm one bit. Looking forward to not having to take benadryl & use hydrocortisone cream anymore, but I am so, so happy with my new boobies and where I'm at in recovery. I find it incredible and amazing how much healing is brought by each new day. I'm able to do lots lately and have been working & that's going great. Wishing you well, Lasin, & big hugs to you!!!!! :)
Birch 11 May 2013
Hi Geret, glad to hear you are doing well!! Sorry you took a ball to your boobie, but glad you are ok. So happy for you that running feels wonderful!! I too am so very happy with my new boobies. Oh and there are no boobies that are too small... that's why God made push up bras lol!!! Enjoy your smaller boobies and don't worry about your husbands opinion that they are too small. :) If you are happy with them, that is what matters most. :)
catlaw7 12 May 2013
Hi Lasin: I am not very happy with my reduction either. I wanted to be smaller and sadly not much changed....maybe from a large DD to mid DD, I wanted to be a C and he knew it. I will be 8 weeks pre op tomorrow, so I don't think there is going to be anymore change although my PS insists it takes upwards of 6 months. However being on this site, everyone seems to have quite a change in a few weeks, so, still way too big boobs for my taste. This site depresses me because I feel cheated out of what I wanted.....just my 2 cents worth

catlaw7, although some doctors are nervous about doing it, they can do lipo suction to take more out. my nurse said to wait and see how I feel in 6 months and then we can decide. In the meantime, I'm working to get my weight down to the healthy range. I know that will help and I'll feel better overall. Try not to feel cheated, we all have different journeys and you and I have a slightly different experience than others right now but the way we choose to think about it will make all the difference. Our journey is not over. Hang in there and know that you are beautiful with any size girls. Sending you hugs!!!
catlaw7 12 May 2013
Thank you Lasin: Yes, I too need to lose weight, but some how cannot even begin to get motivated...I quit smoking for this procedure and still have not smoked....after 40 yrs of smoking...I will tell you I am 61 and this was something I always wanted to do, wish it could have been earlier in my life....so, after paying 6,500 hundred dollars out of our pockets and the result I have, well its depressing...keeping my chin up and your right I will be beautiful with the tiny bit smaller size....Happy Mothers Day.....I cannot afford to do anything else with a PS....how big were you and how big now? How long ago?
geret14 7 May 2013
Guess what yesterday was?!?! 8 weeks post op for me!!! I also spent the day doing my most favorite thing ever, coaching baseball! So glad the weather has started cooperating and we can finally play. So, about the boobies, they are amazing!!! I was unrestricted at practice yesterday. I swung the bat, threw the ball and, are you ready for this? I FINALLY RAN PAIN FREE!!! I ran with my team. All 12 of us, together. It may have been miserable for the boys, but it was really a celebration and a start of my new life and I have never been able to enjoy running WITH the team. What coach does that? This one right here!!! It took 8 weeks, but I am here!!! 5K here I come!!! Here's to me, never turning back!!
Amella24 9 May 2013
Well done Geret! I am so happy for you. How life changing is this surgery, and in ways you didn't even know until afterwards.
