Lymphatic Massage...was it helpful?

Hey ladies, I am wanting to hear from you on whether you believe lymphatic massage was helpful in your recovery. Doctors answers are split on if it is beneficial so I wanted to get your opinion. I need to release a little swelling on my incision line from my tummy tuck and from lipo. Thanks for your input!

Hi!

I have it done once and it felt so nice my doc recommends because it helps circulation and also to break up those hard spots caused by the lipo. I will be getting my second one soon.

Thanks Cat! That is what I need it for, I've got hard spots on my right hip that I can't budge with self massage! I'm going to get one this week! Did you swell after yours? How far post op were you when you had your first one?

Sorry no replies yet. I will ask my doctor tomorrow. He is against using the binding garment...will let you know.

Anyone?? I had this posted on liposuction but the boards are not active over there. Anyone here have lymphatic massage and what were the results? I'm 9 weeks post op with some resistant hard spots on my hips that need to be released.

Hi there, I am 11 weeks post full TT and lipo on thighs, I am doing Lymphatic Massage therapy and it is very effective. It helps with swelling and painful areas. Def a must..
