Would love feedback about open rhino procedure-pics attached

I am a 25 year old woman and met with a plastic surgeon today. He is highly recommended in my area and I like the pictures of his work that I have seen. I am on board to have a breast enlargement and a open basic rhinoplasty. I have never liked my nose, and have always assumed I would have surgery on it. However, after talking to the doctor I am nervous of how extensive the procedure sounds. He is going to remove the dorsal hump, shave some off the tip and basically shrink my nose by 2mm to even everything out. Is this a common thing to be done with rhino? Does it just sound crazier than it is? I know my new nose will not be perfect, I just want an improvement and to not look incredible unnatural. Please share your thoughts :)

I had a nose job 2 yrs ago then had a revision op last August, best thing I ever done even if it did cost me £6000. Not painfull at all even if I did full open Rhinoplasty, i didnt take any of my pain killers. No scars anymore. I had the bump removed & had my nose slightly turned up at the end. I love my new nose it suits my face more than my original one, I'm 45 wish I had it done sooner, it's more inconvenient than painfull, no sneezing through your nose or blowing nose, no swimming or running etc... Take some gum to chew after op you will have dessert mouth

Make sure you ask a lot of questions. Surgeons tell you what they are going to do, but a lot of the times they do not say how or why. Be sure to get an in depth description of what is going to be done. Is he or she going to use grafts? If so, what kind and why? Do they have before and afters of other procedures like yours? Just get all the info. you can so you are not surprised later down the road.

You look like you have a cute nose, but you're the one who needs to be happy with it. If it makes you feel terrible every day 24/7 then it's worth the risk. Yours doesn't sound Like anythjng unsuaI. i had osteotomies, dorsal hump shaved off 5mm, 2mm of Cartilege cut out, tip refinement, tip rotation, Cartilege transplant, and septoplasty.

I had rhinoplasty and my upper and lower eyes done at the same time. When I looked in the mirror after he took my splint off, I was amazed. My nose looked beautiful to me, the doctor told me it was still quite swollen, but I was thrilled. I'm 59 years old and I waited this long to get it done. That's my only regret, I should have done this years ago.

You and your husband are adorable! Are you having the rhinoplasty and breast augmentation at the same time? Make sure your surgeon is very experienced in rhinoplasty. Here's what some doctors saying about choosing the right rhinoplasty surgeon for you.

As far as what he's doing, that sounds similar to what I had done. It's amazing what a couple of millimeters can do.

Yes I am having them at the same time. That is one of my friends, but I agree he is adorable. :) I have seen a lot of his work and have read a lot of positive reviews. I had a bad outcome, and unless your nose is really bad, which yours is not, i would not touch it.
