How long do you have to wear a bra after surgery?

I was told I had to wear a bra for one month after surgery - does this mean day and night (everything but showering) Even in bed sleeping? Even walking around the house - with no activity?   PLEASE HELP?

I believe that is the case, but contact your surgeon to find out his or her preference on what you do post-op.
