How long should I be in "pain" after my lift/augmentation?

Hello, today is day 7 of my lift/augmentation. I realize I may be premature in asking this question. I had severe pain for the first 3 days and then that began to subside. A day or 2 without much pain and the last 2 or 3 days of moderate to VERY uncomfortable pain. Mostly on my right breast underneath and to the armpit side of my breast. My husband massaged it very easily yesterday and that seemed to help some but I feel its this strap I have to wear. It is very uncomfortable and seems to just put pressure on the spot that is hurting so badly. I don't know how long I am supposed to wear this strap but I'm also wondering why I'm having so much pain on one side. Even just sitting here watching tv...it hurts!!!

To follow up my previous post...I am now exactly 2 weeks post-op...the pain finally subsided after about 10 days. I think I must have been an exception to the rule on pain. I read posts of ladies who were going out to eat and socialize on day 3 or 4...there is no way i could have done that even on day 6 or 7..but I'm feeling much better now. I still have a little stiffness and soreness on the right side but I have found if I move my arms around..up and down and across my chest it stretches that muscle a little and the pain has gone down tremendously. Now I'm just waiting for the day I get to see my final result.
