How long after a TT and BA can I get back to class?

I am a nursing student/mom of a 4yr old/Nurse assistant and have very little free time. Is it possible to be sitting in a 3hr lecture a wk after surgery and attending a clinical that I will just have to be sitting and talking for? I can be off of work for 4wks but not out of school. Thanks!

I needed to attend a business meeting one week post surgery on my Day 7. The meeting lasted for 2 hours and it was EXTREMELY difficult. I had to stop my pain meds in order to be thinking clearly; I had help getting fully dressed; my hairdresser did a housecall so I could look presentable and my assistant drove me and brought me home. It was by far the hardest thing I did.

I can't imagine sitting in a 3 hour lecture only one week post-surgery. Is it "possible" for you to do this? Yes, but it will be really HARD and painful!
