Lipo or tummy tuck?

By Misslittleselfconsious on 03 Feb 2010

I had twins and a baby so close together and lost 60 pounds total after both pregnancies. I currently weigh 215. My tummy sags about 2 inches and I am unaware of what I really need to get done to help me on my journey to being healthy and fit.

Liposuction is ideal for patients that have localized collection of fat around the body, and have good skin quality so the skin can retract back and not cause waviness. Tummy tuck is when you have excess skin and fat. when the skin is folding down then you need a tummy tuck and may be also liposuction.

A tummy tuck removes excess or hanging skin, removes stretch marks below the navel and tightens the muscles of the abdomen. I consider doing a liposuction above the waist at the same time to be dangerous. A liposuction reduces or removes fat in various areas and will not succeed in places with very loose skin or deep stretch marks.
