To Lipo or Not to Lipo, that is the question.

Hi everyone... I am scheduled for a TT on Oct 5 and at my consult, my doc said he would like to perform lipo on the top of my abs and my flanks. I am 5'6 and weigh 165lbs. Ideally, I would like to knock off 10 lbs before surgery. I am VERY worried about going through with the lipo. I have coworkers who regret doing lipo as they gained fat in weird spots. Also, I am not expecting a super model's body, I jist want the skin gone. My doctor who I trust very much said he thinks I will have better results with the lipo. I guess what I am asking is should I follow a trained perofessional who does this stuff all the time or my gut? Thanks everyone!
