Anyone know a Lip Plumper that actually works?

By tammy44 on 14 Mar 2008

I bought a lip plumper for $30.00 from a popular cosmetic company and it was a total waste of money. Does anyone know a lip enhancer that really works?

Though I didn't use lip plumpers, one of my friends used a lip plumper. She bought it from Angellift Cosmetic and it really worked well for her. The result made her felt confident. Earlier to using them, she had tried others and wasted a lot of money over them. She used this and was very satisfied with the result.

I'd love to know this, too. I've tried City Lips and it didn't work worth a hill of beans.

The only lived pumpers that I know are injectable fillers or permanent implants such as Perma. The patient has never had any lip augmentation, I usually start with injectable filler because you can adjust the size. Once you know what size patients are happy with, you can eventually insert the silicone implants which give the best result. They come in four different sizes.

Working of lip plumper is totally depend on its ingredients. You have to choose the best plumper that contains all essential ingredients. View this site for more information: http://www.consumerhealthdigest.com/lip-plumper

I recently bought a 'lip pump' from thelipplumpingshop.com and in my opinion this is the only lip plumper that works. I have tried soooo many plumpers, but this one is my fav. The cheapest one is $50 but it is a plastic device, so u dont need to replace it because it never runs out, unlike a gloss, ive had mine for 2 years now and it still works.

Oil of clove will pump up lips too as will eating a very hot pepper.
I agree with the Vivite lip plumper statement by Dr Perlman. Patients seem to really like it. Most lip plumpers are subtle though..so dont expect world changes from it.

My patients and I love LipTox Lip Plumper. It doesn't have a tacky/sticky feel. Also, it doesn't taste bad, plumps the lips and keeps them pouty. It runs around $24. Enjoy! Sofia Rubbani, MD, FACS, ASLMS AACS NYU School of Medicine
Vivite has a new lip plumper on the market. We have been giving it to patients is a promotion with Juvederm. I live in a humid climate so dry with us is not a problem here except in the wintertime. My patients have noticed a slight improvement since using Vivite Lip Plumper

$30 is a bit of a shell-out for a lip plumper you're not satisfied with. While I'm sure I've got the same one you refer to, there are a couple of others that you might want to try. One is Bare Escentuals Buxom Lip. It runs about $18, and comes in a range of colors. This one seemed to work for me, but you'd have to try it yourself. Another, for much less, is Sally Hansen Lip Inflation and Lip Inflation Extreme. I haven't tried these, but the price is right and they're available at any local drug store. Good luck and let us know how you make out!
