Yes, but you may have to get treated up to 10 times before it will be gone. I've had 5 treatments now, my underarms are hair free but my bikini area needs at least another 2 treatments. Then I should only have to go once a year before it needs to be treated again. I go to Neoskin in Melbourne, Australia and they use Gentlelase.

Laser hair removal treatment is a stepwise procedure which can yield permanent hair reduction. Progressively it removes the unwanted hair and this treatment continues until your skin becomes hairless and smooth. Typically you need 4-6 single treatments to get the desired results. But make sure that you get it done by an expert doctor and follow the advices given by him during and after the treatment. I recently had a few sessions of laser hair removal treatment. Now I can see that growth of body hair has slowed down significantly. And it is always better than frequent usage of irritating hair removing creams and painful waxing. Thank you.

Yes, it is worth it. Nevertheless, you should be clear on "what" exactly does it imply to have Laser Hair Removal (LHR). LHR will "permanently" REDUCE the amount of hairs you have. In other words, it does not eliminate ALL your hair. That is a common misconception and the reason why some people experience "some" hair growth after they have successfully completed the sessions they required depending on their skin type and hair color. Do not be discouraged by the possibility of hair re-growth after you complete your LHR sessions, since the amount and thinness of those hairs will be scarce and in some cases barely noticeable. Also, it is important to take into account that not everybody is a suitable candidate for LHR. It's most successful with people who have light skin and dark hair; that means that LHR on people with blonde hair will not be very successful (LHR works by detecting pigment). I hope this helps ...

I take back my original post because it is not worth it. I tried it and found out the risks are not worth it. You stand to loose more than what you could gain.
