which is better for permanent hair removing?
I heard electrolysis is better but more painful and just as expensive. None of my friends have done electrolysis which makes me think its old treatment technique that got replaced by laser. -Ami

Ami: electrolysis is sooo sooo painful and slow. Don't stop at go, head right to laser hair removal!

LASER is the only way to go. LASER, not IPL, no elecrolysis, only LASER. There are ways to make to pain less of an issue. Tell the LASER Technicain you want her to go at a slower pace. Most of the deivces have pace control, the slower you go, the less it hurts. Sounds contradictory, but it is true for most LASER devices. Many people who used electrolysis in the past are current LASER clients... if electrolysis is so effective, why are they using another method? IPL is ok, good for some, not for others.

That answer sounds very biased... hard selling.
There is no evidence to support the claim that many people who used electrolysis are using another method???
And you left out LHE hair removal.
