Does kenalog break down scar tissue that has already formed in the tip?

I am almost 9 months post revision tiplasty and my doc injected kenalog a month ago and my tip is softening up,but I dont see a difference in my tip..it is still bulbulous. He wants to see me in 2 months for pics and he said no more injections as he already has done two. Will kenalog break down the scar tissue and will I see further refinement?
