Kelocote Gel vs kelocote Spray

I am preparing for surgery and I wanted to order something for my scar treatment so that I had it. Does anybody have experience using both the kelocote gel and the spray? Which is better? I am allergic to steri-strips and originally I was going to order the Oleeva silicone sheeting but I thought maybe I better not since I might develop an allergy and it is way too expensive to order and then findn out I can't use it. So that is why I am looking at the kelocote for my scar treatment but I am unsure which to get, the spray or gel and would like some personal opinions and advice. Thank you!
