July TTers???

Where are all of the July TT's??? I am scheduled for a breast augmentation & lift, and TT on July 6th!! Scared, nervous, anxious, excited , ....I am feeling every emotion imaginable !!!! I will have TONS of help, my husband and MIL are keeping my kids and my sister is taking care of me at her house, very blessed to have all of this help, but still feeling very emotional .... Do I deserve this? Have I lost enough weight? Will I EVER be happy with my body? EMOTIONS !!!

Well I did it! Lying here in the hotel at about 1:30 am. I guess the ambien that they gave me doesn't work on me! I went to sleep around 9:30 , and now wide awake! A little pain, seems like mostly incisional pain,mhavn had anything for the pain since 7:30 last nigh. Inthinknim doing good, except for the 2 binders! Yes 2!!!

Iok ladies, I need to be talked off the ledge!!!! I have lipo scheduledc for Thursday ( 2days) and I am frekingbout!! I read a lot last night and I guess I was not expecting the extent of recovery that. Read about. I've already been thru the TT recovery, so I thought this would be easy. To tell you the truth , that's not even really my "freak out" part. I wore a bikini on vacation ( couple weeks ago) for the first time ever and nw, I am totally worried about the incision scars ( lipo on back and flank). Any advice, I am n tears here, don't know what to do!! I really want the love handles gone but .....

do it do it. i'm getting it done at some point too. Listen Lori, you're done the recovery of the tt and you're now out the other end of it. You will be sorry if you don't get this lipo done. The incision scars from the lipo will be so small and will eventually fade. Now pick yourself up and stop those tears, this will be another one of the best things you've done for yourself

I am scheduled for July 2. I travel a lot for work and couldn't find even a two week window for recovery until then (i'm posting from the plane right now). I hope it's OK if I jump in a little early to share stories, experiences and concerns. I've had surgery consults before, but have another scheduled for Thursday to go over all the details. It's been over a year since my last consult and I finally have the money and my husband's support. I'm getting more nervous and excited as July quickly approaches.

hi hun, i think go for it. definitely. I'm doing the same, waiting to save up first though. I'm getting lipo on my thighs as well.

Well, I have it all scheduled and ready to go!! Lipo next week!! Not expecting too much from the recovery, hoping it will be easy..... Those with knowledge n lipo recovery , this is your cue to pipe in.......

It's been awhile since I have been on, I hope everyone is doing good after 6 months, my scar is still dark and I had allergy from surgical tape on my upper side so I may need steroids to get it to get flatter because it was raised.

Hi everyone! I'm curious to know how many of you still swell. I swell a lot. I wake up nice and flat and by the end of the day I look like i swolled a small basketball. I hope everyone is well and recovering as expected =))

Bloating: I am having alot of admominal bloating this past few weeks, to the point that my clothes get too small by end of day....I am now 5 months post op....

It is almost like gas pains....anyone else having this?

Yes! I am having that as well. But I've been having a problem with fluid all along, and I attributed it to that. I called for an appointment today and I'm waiting to hear back.

I have had similar pains as well.... It's got to be fairly normal, at least I hope so...
We have to remembervthat there is a long healing process , and we are all going to heal at different rates. Hang in there, pain isvyour body's signal to take it easy.

hmmm....have you asked your PS? Mine is also sore on the right upper side... I have been doing lots of sit ups, but I feel like it is overly sore too.. I am also 4 months post op

I was given the ok @ 6 weeks to resume my workout & dancing. Pilates, belly dancing, jogging - everything I was doing before hand. I'm doing great! I listen to my body & don't push myself. I am about 5 months post op

Almost 4 months post op and all of the sudden my tummy is sore, almost like I have been doing sit ups forever and I haven't done any. :( Is this normal?

It is very normal! I am 7 months post op & my muscles still have that sore feeling! Very long healing process.

Had my 11 wk post op a week and a half ago... go the go ahead for exercise including yoga and told to go get massages to help with the stiffness of my back muscles... It helps!! He said he thought he told me to do that around my 7 wk appt...um nope.

Now am awaiting phase 2, as I call it. I am getting my gall bladder scar revise as it is huge and thick. He is going to basically remove it and then restitch the area. Along with this procedure, he is going to revise my TT scar as two areas dimpled inward. He said it will all be in office and to take a few days off from work... so Oct 14th til the 18th (my birthday), I will be home recouping. Anyone else have a revision?? How was it? How sore were you? restrictions??

I too am a little swollen at days end and after exercise but it is mostly gone by morning. I did have another spitting suture the other day and had to pull it out but it is okay. My PS said I could get those over the next couple months. I am having trouble with weight gain as I do have a appetite so I put myself back on Weight Watchers. I don't want to jeopardize what I worked so hard to attain.

I was told to maintain. And I still get full real easy and if I try to eat my normal amount (before tt) I get uncomfortable. So now I just have to make sure I eat healthier choices & just keep up my fitness goals. We are now at the stages of being uncomfortable with slight soreness and/or swelling, feeling more tired than usual & a suture popping out now & then. Keep up the good work & happy healing

I feel so uncomfortable today. Im slight sore and swollen..just enough to be uncomfortable but still move around freely without feeling unbareable. If that make sense? How is everyone doing?

I often feel the same. I swell by the end of the day or off and on... I swell after I exercise. My flanks are sore and tender to the touch still. Today I go for a check in with PS. All my open areas are finally healed and my belly button looks great...even the redness is fading there.
