New Jersey lifestyle lift

I have just completed the face lift surgery the 26th of dec 2012 at Little Falls. Dr Hamawy was my surgeon. First off, i lost close to 55 lbs in 1 yr and the skin was hanging under my chin, and my jowels were full. I am 60 yrs old. There was enough skin under my chin to clip on 3 clothspins :). Anyway, the surgery is not for the faint hearted. They did warn me of bruising and tightness after this surgery. This was not a simple cut get get up and leave procedure. They did put you in lala land with the Valium and other sedatives, and you are basically awake during this procedure. It was not as I expected, but today is Jan 4th and I am healing quite well. everyone is different. Dr hamawy knows exactly what he is doing. I had alot of skin removed from both sides of the face. The cuts go from my hairline down along the front of my ear contour around my ear lob and up the back of the ear.. big cutiing, left and right sides of my face.He also cut under my chin, tightened the muscle under my neck..I am just telling the audience that this was not a simple cut. I am not complaining at all. The staff was very friendly and knew the drill. I was very bruised after this procedure and still today have black n blue bruising, however it is going away daily. If you follow their directions, take the antibiotics and vitamins you will come out well. It took me 5 days before I had enough backbone to go out in public, very bruised. There was no real pain to this, swelling and bruising only. I give a 5 star to the surgeons at Little falls, read their bios, both double board certified and they have their own private practices. I read sooo much bad news about LifeStyleLift from all over the country and I feel bad for the folks that were not happy or going through legal avenues. I truly believe you need to know the surgeon, read his credentials, and have feedback from customers of those Drs. My neck is smooth, tight, all loose (turkeyneck), skin is gone, jowels are gone, skin is lifted ... I'm healing.. I month more and the swelling should be all gone, you really cant see where he cut, that fine! The guys an artist ! So, thats my experience with LifestyleLift.. I will look 10-15 yrs younger when all is healed.. am I happy with the procedure ? ... YES... good luck..

Hi folks, I have a procedure planned for a neck uplift, (Turkey neck) at LSL in Little Falls NJ, Has anyone on this forum been through a procedure there using Dr H. Hamawy, He has a private practice outside LSL in NY, Conn has a great reputation as Plastic Surgeon, and a facial reconstructive surgeon. Dr Hamawy is Double Board Certified, impressive credentIials. I've been reading through this forum and some experiences you folks had are frightening, maybe it was your Drs. any feedback welcomed. Frank

Even happier now than before! I have to say that I have lost about 20 pounds since the procedure, but had started the weight loss before it was done. But my face looks so natural, my eyes amazing and the laser took years and years off my face. My internist had seen me a month after the procedures and last week. She said she really was amazed at how natural and happy I looked - Most everyone attributes my new look to my weight loss. How about you? Happy?

I am now about 6-8 eight weeks out and I am absolutely over the moon happy!! I look at least 10 years younger and awake! Everyone comments on how great I look and they ask if I had my hair done. I look totally natural. I got the laser, lifestyle lift, and eyes done by Dr. Wise. Highly recommend!!!!

I had my work done by Dr Small in Little Falls. He was very serious and is a good skilled doctor. I am very satisfied with the procedure and all the results. I had my Eyes and neck done at the same time. Recovery was easy and results are very good. I researched all I could about Lifestyle Lift and had reasonable expectations. I have not been disappointed. There is plenty of negative things written on line but all was unfounded - in my view.

Hopefully you will read this over 2 years later. I am now looking for a lifestyle like lift. It is April 2009. I am researching and heard that Dr. Sharma in Little Falls, NJ was good back in 2006. But I don't know WHICH Dr. Sharma. Can you remember his full name, if this is your doctor, or any other clues, or give me your good doctor's name?

I had the Lifestyle Lift done in Little Falls by {edited} almost a year ago. It looked great at first but after about 3-4 months the sagging was back. I also have noticeable scars in front of one ear and behind both ears, and a couple of bumps. The scar in front of the ear is still painful to the touch. It was also a little unnerving that he and his assistant held a private social conversation during the entire procedure. I was very disappointed and wouldn't do it again. I'm seriously thinking about having the procedure done in NJ by doctors Wise or Karolak and I'm sort of nervous. I remember when everybody was flocking to lasik surgery for the eyes and some were estatic and some dissatisfied.

You talk about repeats. Is there a reoccurrence of the sags?

Well, I went for the consulation today, and was told the price would be approx 4,000 and I had to put down 10%. Didn't see the dr - was a bit suspicious about I had to pay $400 before I saw the dr. This Lifestyle Lift center is in Little Falls NJ. Has anyone had any dealing with this clinic and drs. Mark Karolak, D.O. and Carlo P. Honrado, MD? Thinking about it, but will check everything out with a local plastic surgery. Please respond if you know anything further.
