I went in for a thermage consultation and left the office with a prepaid appointment to get my face & neck done next week.
After doing some internet research, especially reading the postings on this website, I cancelled the procedure. Less than 50% positive rating really scared me. When I discussed this with the office, I was told they have a new machine that does not burn.
Of course they could not guarantee results. I was also not given any before & after pictures from their clinic, nor could they offer me any references. They said they've only used this machine for 2 months and they're waiting for the 6 month point to reveal results. I also discovered that nurses do the actual procedure- not a dermatologist or other doctor.
If anyone had any similar experience, especially if you had the procedure, please add a post. I was convinced by the sales pitch- but you know what they say about things that are "too good to be true"... I couldn't risk it.
