internal nasal swelling

Hey- I had my cast removed on Monday (today is Thursday). I have the usual tip-swlling, and a fair amount in my middle nose. I can really feel how "meaty" the flesh is that makes up the nostrils (on each side of my nose), and how this is restricting my airways. My question is to those who went through septorhinoplasty, and maybe more specifically an open procedure. How long did it take before you had moderate to higher levels of airflow through your nose? I think I've been averaging about 50% through one nostril, and closer to 5-10% through the other, periodically. Thanks!!
For me, it took weeks. Maybe a month or two before I could fully breathe through my nose.
