Help! Hit nose after rhinoplasty

By HaleyCaroline on 07 Jan 2012

I just had rhinoplasty about 1 and half week ago almost two weeks. Last night my friend gave me a hug and coming out of it, she accidently hit my nose. However, this morning, I was sleeping and my iPad hit me in the nose (it was leaning against a pillow from the night before when I was watching a movie). Anyway, I am obviously more worried bout this impact. I can already see a minor bump on the bridge of my nose that was made straight. Should I be worried or is this just swelling? I didn't bleed and any pain I had didn't last for more than 10 minutes.

Your nose will be stuffed up, and you'll have to breathe through your mouth. You'll also feel some pain from the procedure, and you may become nauseous or throw up. nose right

You're probably a-ok, but if you're worried, you should contact your surgeon. I remember hitting my nose a few times after rhinoplasty and it didn't seem to affect the long-term results. Good luck!
