I am four weeks post op upper and lower blepharoplasty and my upper right lid looks just like yours. It was more swollen than the left one right after surgery and the surgeon told me it would take longer to heal. It is very frustrating that's for sure. I am going back to the doctor tomorrow and if he has any good ideas on how to reduce swelling I will post it. Hang in there, I'm sure it will be fine.

Yes!!! That completely happened to me. My doctor told me that there was a lot for swelling on one of my eyes and thus that particular upper eyelid was weakened during the surgery. He prescribed IOPODINE eye drops to help strengthen it and it worked! HOOOOWEVER, my incisions are healing oddly now. They don't match. How do ur eyes and scars look now? I'm 7 1/2 weeks post-op.

I haven't done mine yet so I can't say. How are you doing now? Other people have said that each eye heals differently.

I had a lower bleph and my eyes are healing differently because i have excessive scar tissue in one eye. This is something that does need to be addressed by ur surgeon IF it is the case. He will probably suggest waiting if you just had it done, massage and/or steroid injections to smooth the scar (look up potential risks for this). If it doesnt go away the excess scarring might need to be surgically removed. However, this is only after AT LEAST 6-12 months. I have absolutely no clue if this is your case so talk to ur surgeon for sure.
