Anyone hate their one week results?

Lying on the table getting my drains removed I was in love with my new stomach. When I got home and was standing at the mirror it was a whole different view. It seems lumpy, not like the 1-week pics I've been viewing. Help!!!!

Please give it more time before you make any decisions.  One week is such a short time and your body needs time to heal.  You will be lumpy, swollen and bruised for a while. 

Just be patient and it will all heal and start to take shape soon.

Funny but I was fine the next day. I think it's the emotional roller coaster I've been on. I'm so thankful for this website, it really helps.

Oh yes the roller coaster...darn thing:)   This will get better quickly.  Hang in there.

Yes, you will have your ups & downs!! It took me a while to really love my results & I am still not fully healed! You will not see your final body until about 4 - 6 months - this is a big surgery & you will be so happy in the end! I am 12 weeks post op & finally the swelling is going down & I am really seeing how my figure will look! You will be fine, I know it is hard!

I had my tummy tuck on 6/21/11 and i still SWELL!! its so awful sometimes i get a muffin top. To be honest You will not see your final result for at least a year.... chipper up darlin the recovery is AWFUL! Im right there with you =(

I'm still swelling but just in one small area. Im happy the worst is far behind me!!!

I'm 2 weeks out and swollen big time. Have a spot on the incision that does not want to heal. Can't work cause I can't wear pants. I wish I were Scottish then I could pull out a kilt. Time heals and I have had 3 previous hernia surgeries. They were much easier than this. You gals are tough. My hats off to you

Hang in there..and I say go for the kilt if it feels better:)

This is a long process and can be very frustrating.  Try to stay stress free so that your body can heal.  When we get upset that can and will slow down the healing process.   You are very early in the process but I know that it probably feels like you have been in it for months already. 

When you swell kick your feel up, ice and rest.  That helps bring it back down.
