Hate my compression garment. Order a better one?

The one I have now goes from my knees to my chest and all i had was a mini TT. The doctor says they have standard garments that can be used for several kinds of patients. I looked at some much better looking ones on MakeMeHeal.com. Is it a good idea to get one? Is just a binder ok? It has been one week since my surgery.
