grinding and clenching teeth

i am new in here i dont know if my question a while ago was posted anyways i will ask again. been a year since i started clenching and grinding my teeth even when i am still awake. my jaw starts aching and i can't smile cause of this humiliation..my teeth looks bad. really bad! am i stressed out? is this mannerism?
I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. Have you been to a dentist to see if there is a problem with your bite that could be causing you to clench & grind your teeth? If your bite is fine, then perhaps its high stress?
