Nicks mom I sure hope so. I'm also tired of this. I have these lumps along mu suture line that prohibit my movement alot. When I do a little reaching and bending they get sore. I've been trying to massage them, but yuk they feel so weird it's hard for me to touch it. I'm glad you're moving about, I know that's my problem. Just don't do too much. All you're doing you're amazing to me. Keep up the good work, you'll be fine. After 3 weeks every day you get up you feel so much better than the day before, so don't worry.

I have to fly to San Diego Tuesday for a party. I'm not looking forward to all the movement to get there. I'm not going to get a new dress cause I'm sure in a few months it won't fit right....I hope:) little nervous that I'll still be bent over but told my husband I am walking as little as possible and he will carry everything. Today I am going to try to take only tylinol. Wish me luck. I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I haveva long ways but it's visible.

I have the same fears and I have 7 weeks off, so 2 more left. And I was really worried also, my job is like yours. I wouldn't have been ready at 4 weeks but I'm alot older than you are. I don't think I could do my job properly this week, I'm still sore on my skin and have some pulling when I move certain ways. I really need to start doing more, but I'm enjoying being babied. My husband does everything, and wants me to take it easy.

That is my biggest fear - that I am not going to bounce back quick enough to return to my job at 4 weeks. I have to be 100% able and willing to do my job (not a desk job - a fairly physical job that has me on my feet for most of my 8 hr shift).

Hi how have you been? Yes walked hunched over longer than 2 weeks, because what I felt was as straight as I could get was still slightly bent at 3 weeks. Actually I'm 5 weeks today and just recently have got my walk back. I just feel so old in my body, because getting up from a sitting position for a while is a slow strain.

Hello Dennis , I work up a bit better and trying to stretch in a flat position in bed,...hope that's ok to do. I am walking a bit straighter now, but hope by afternoon I'm not over like I was yesterday. I worked and then took my son to soccer, I think that was what did it. I get put my sutures on Thursday.I have to stop critiquing my body already. I knowmit needs more time to heal. Glad you are doing better. Do you think we will ever be able to bend and stretch in every direction?

How is everyone doing? I am 12am days PO and still a hunch back and swelling mid day like crazy. I am so ready for this to be over. Please
Someone tell me they walked hunched for 2 weeks. It's driving me crazy.

I am a 44 year old grammy of a 6 year old..two kids ages 25 and 23. I am scheduled for a breast augmentation and tummy tuck for November 9th! OMG I am sooooo nervous and excited!!

Hello ladies sorry I've been posting on any September/ October moms forum. But I'm doing ok, got my drains out Tuesday am 12 days post op, getting better everyday, mornings are a little rough, really tired of sleeping on back. Breast still a little sore, and get tired real fast. But look great? Lol, hope all is well with all of you. First week is bad! But gets better everyday

I do my husband is here and very eager to go! We did spring cleaning at the house this week, so he should be fine. We re pretty prepared. I ll keep in touch. Thanks for the encouragement.

My surgery was supposed to be at 1:00 pm, and they changed it to 7:30am. I was glad, then I get to be in my hospital room by 1, instead of 5-6. Are you staying overnight in the hospital? How much time off work did you take. Did you get a recliner to sleep in...I heard it is a must! I am packing percocet/vicoden in my bag, just in case they dont give me as many as i want!

I am eager to hear about your results and your recovery. I hope you have plenty of help and pampering in the works! Grandma's need it too.
i see the whole process as time off from the many joys of grandmothering, mothering and homemaking- a full full-time job and labor of love.
You will look incredible and feel like a new woman! My TT is Sept 28th.

Don't worry granny, I'm going in a few hours I ll keep you posted on everything. I didn't sleep good, did a lot of praying, have a little headache but feel calm, it's all unconcious for me I guess. But we ll be fine.

Yes I'm here tomorrow I get full TT and BA and lipo of flanks. I'm 52 with 2 grandchildren I'm the mother of 4. Wish me luck!

I'm close...I will be 49 two days before my surgery - I am also a grandma (my daughters are 27, 14, and 12) The granddaughter belongs to the 27 yr and she is 6-1/2 yrs old.
