Does anyone knows good rhinoplasty specialist in Mexico ?

US doctors, I couldn't give a rats ass what you have to say about doctors overseas. If you guys could charge something reasonable, we wouldn't be traveling. Mexico City is a much more cosmopolitan place than Tampa or Phoenix, and the doctors are probably twice as good at half the price.

Can you please tell me the name of the Indian surgeon you consulted with.

Well, as for me it is important how many surgeries he is done. Because everyone gets experience on practice. If this doc. does mostly lipo or breast I certainly not going to offer him my face. Rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult procedure and anyone who consider to do this have to make sure you are dealing with the doc. who is done 1000s of rhinoplasty, because this is his specialty.

Hundreds over the last 20 years ?
Hmmmm.... Usually, doc, does 100 rhinoplasty over the one year.
Few weeks ago I went to see one of William Portuese and he does 4 rhinoplasty a week. Which is 192/year. He has 22 years of experience. If you multiply it's 3840 rhinoplasty for all his career time. How come this Professor from Mexico only done 100s in 20 years. That's my consern.

As I said no, I didn't personally have rhinoplasty with him, I had other procedures. But he teaches at UNAM, that's the best medical school in Latin America, and has written in scientific journals about his form of doing rhinoplasty, having done hundreds of them over the last 20 years. Even if I had had my nose done personally by him there is no guarantee with any one, I'm just saying he's an excellent surgeon, worth looking in to.

I didn't have rhinoplasty but I can recommend my PS in Mexico (Alfredo Meza Perez). I respect the doctors on the site who advise caution but some have an agenda that doesn't have much to do with the facts. If you do your research some of the most recognized surgeons worldwide practice in Mexico (especially Mexico City). Don't go for the lowest price though, balance price with reputation.

I am sure there a good and bad surgeons everywhere. I heard so many hora stories from other sites how people spend $20.000 on famost surgeon who left their nose deformed and they have no money left to fix.
Trust me if I could afford I would probably do in the US just because I don't want to travel. I just think everyone has to do home work, try to research and listen other people experiences.
It, also makes me mad that doc. charge way to high price and there no garantee it's going to be exactly what I want.
I spoke with the celebreties plastic surgeon in India and he said exactly the same stuff what I was told by american surgeon what has to be donefor my rhinoplasty. The only difference Indian wants to charge me $2.700 and american $8.300.
My bank is not going to borrow me $ for the rhinoplasty in the US because I already have school loan.
It's really doesn't make a sence to me. Business are closing down, people loosing jobs, hours and even getting pay less then what they used to make but plastic surgeon getting more and more greedy. That's why we want to go outside the country.
I better go otherwise I won't stop complaining :)
