Who is considered the most talented doctor to do a revision rhinoplasty? This will be number 3 and want it to be the last one. My entire tip needs to be redone and brought down. I have been reading about Dr Davis in FL or Dr. Cochran in TX. i am terrifed my nose is going to end up worse than what it already is! Thanks much! JE

I am not sure if you already went through with the surgery or not, but I just had my revision rhinoplasty with a surgeon in Birmingham Al. My entire nose was completely botched from the first surgery. I took the second surgeon 7.5 hrs to fix it. Originally he quoted my family and I around 2 hrs for the whole surgery but after he opened my nose he realized that it will take a lot longer to fix my nose. He had to completely rebuild it. He had to take cartilage from both of my ears and from behind each ear. Today is the 11th day after my surgery and I barely had any swelling and zero complications. The first week I didn't not like my nose due to the significant amount of swelling. I felt as if I looked like rudolf. Now that the swelling has come down a significant amount, my nose is starting to look beautiful. There was a lot of work performed. My alar rims had to be brought down, my columella had to be brought up slightly and my nose was vearing to the left and it is now symmetrical. Also there was a dip so to speak between the bony part and the cartilage part of my nose. A visible one. So choose your doctor carefully.

I would say Dr. Thomas Loeb, Norman Pastorak, Thomas Le, Sam Lam, or Richard Davis. Look on makemeheal.com for good revision surgeons as well. I would not go see Dr. Cochran. If I had the money I would see Dr. John Hilsinki in San Diego or Dr. Ghavami as well.

hi, irsi, why wouldn" t you go to Dr Cochran? Im supposed to have a revision by him but I'm hesitant.

There is at least one awful review here, unless it's been removed or I'm confusing Dr. Cochran with the Gunther group in general. I would go here and Google him or go to Rate Mds; I realize every single surgeon will have at least a few negative reviews but his were particularly alarming.

I'm sorry--I think you should read your own bad reviews. Specifically from a Faith 2012. I might be confusing him with the Gunther group. I would read ALL reviews--including bad ones--for your designated procedure.

yes,I know, I had a very bad life changing primary with dr cochran. sometimes i think maybe i should let him fix it but aging i see how bad and deformed my nose looks i don t think i can trust him again , then i read all the great reviews he has but most of them don t share any details or pictures ..he surely made mistakes on my nose even if he blames all on infection,he shouldn t pinched my nose when i told him no to and he should have given me antibiotics when i called about strange symptoms few days after surgery,,he didn t give me antibiotics until weeks later but it was too late. basically my life is ruined because of this.

Have you considered Dr. Thomas T. Le? I have heard amazing reviews from people about him and his revisions!
