I found a new gadget called the Galvanic Spa This device is for toning your skin and reversing the signs of aging. It has helped me with the skin discolorations I have, and my wrinkles, and my cellulite and my stretch marks, also with the dark circles under my eyes and has softened my skin too. I love it because it only takes 10min. twice a day. I don't have hours to spend in a salon since I'm a new mom. I didn't see anyone else on Realself posting about galvanic current. Galvanic current is what Sophia Loren has been using for years and she's just gorgeous especially for someone who's about 70yrs. old! I felt that someone should be posting about this because its helped me so much and its a brand new defense against aging! If anyone has any questions about getting one or how it has effected my skin I'd love to answer them! I've found the fountain of youth!!

Galvanic current is frequently used during professional facial treatments to penetrate serums and stimulate circulation. Galvanic current does have some definite benefits.
I have not looked too closely at this particular product, but I would like to add that during a professional treatment we have the client hold an electrode to guard against shock. A good quality galvanic unit is quite costly. Depending on the state you live in, a professional unit may be classified as a medical device and it's use regulated; so I suspect it is unlikely this is a powerful unit if it's available to the general public.
As I said, I have no personal experience with this machine, but I have seen plenty of them for sale on Craigslist......with a heavy emphasis on "independent distributor" and "business" opportunities. I hate to sound so skeptical. In theory it could help.
If it's working for you, great! Sounds like it takes alot of time, though.
Ten minutes, twice a day, every day is a little longer than I want to spend rolling an electrode across my face....I have problem skin, so my routine is long enough as it is.

It is recommended to use the Galvanic Spa twice a WEEK (not a day)for 10 minutes but I have to say it is a bit addicting as you do see results and they are cummulative so once you start you feel the need to do more. The Galvanic Spa does have the ability to work on cellulite as well. Results are different for each individual but again it is cummulative so that is why you might find yourself using it more than twice a week.

My friend has one of these and I tried it. Well Wow! It took away weird under skin like pimples I had that I couldn't get rid of for years - in one treatment...also my wrinkles did look much less - even to th point I didn't go get BOTOX. My only problem is the gel you put on your face from nuskin has paraben and other chemicals that noone should be putting on their face anymore it's so bad hormonally for your body. I used plain old olive oil on my face with it and its working beautiful - and all natural. I would highly reccomend this device I'm going to up the 350 for it because I want one of my own!

I've been thinking of trying/buying one of these. Don't want any invasive procedure including the in and out lifestyle lift! I was wondering if other products could be used with the spa as I've heard paraben is not good! I have heard of a great new French product that is ala natural that will be coming out soon...one product is sent packed in dry ice and is kept in the freezer...no preservatives. Would like to know if anyone else has tried other products with the spa.

my girldfriend's friend used galvanic spa and loved it. She also mentioned that it helped her with her hyperpigmentation. I'm so excited! I was going to try fraxel laser but your story is really convincing me I should try this. How long did it take to see results and what other benefits did you see?

Can you tell me where you found the ingredients of paraben listed on the product boxes or brochure. Also what chemicals are you finding.

I have a galvanic spa and love the results. Smoother, tighter and cleaner skin. I am 32 and my goal is to never have anything done other than botox or fillers. I have seen personally the results of this device on others. I am also an RN who works in the dermatology field with in office skin tightening devices. This works for in home use for a fraction of the cost.
