Can a frozen effect from Botox be fixed?

By Bailey986 on 09 Apr 2010

I am 30 and got Botox, mostly as a preventative measure but also to address some fine lines on my forehead, three days ago. I was concerned about looking frozen and so I asked to go very conservative. I ended up getting 26 units total for my forehead, glabella, and eyes. One day later, I could hardly raise my eyebrows and when I do, they peak on the edges. My forehead barely moves and has an uneven appearance. Will this improve over time? Can it be corrected? I don't know whether to wait or try to get it corrected.

Hi Bailey, At this point, the only thing that can be corrected is the "peaked edges" or your brows. For the rest, you will have to wait until the effect of Botox wears off. In the future, make sure that your physician uses a smaller dose. Good luck and be well. Dr. P
