Looking for Travel Buddies - Discuss here!

Lots of the BBL community have started asking about travel buddies. It's great to share the costs of travel and hotels, as well as having the support of someone else going through the same experience.

Just leave a note with information, such as:

  • Your doctor
  • Your dates
  • Location of your doctor
  • How many people you're looking to share with

 

Please don't share personal information in a public space. This includes email addresses, home addresses, telephone numbers, etc.

Hi RS community :) ok i know this probably sounds so retarded but, I'm new to this site, and although its my first day on the site, I have read sooo many stories and advice from all of the wonderful people who take time out of their recovery process to update us on their experience! I still however am a little clueless when it comes to the buddy situation, i mean it doesn't take a rocket scientist to put 2 and 2 together to figure out what a buddy is there for lol but i'm unsure of how it works!! I'm not slow i promise lol, I just am not sure of how the process works, for example, can we share a hotel room and have different doctors? Do we have to book the lodging together? Can a person I bring along also stay with me and my "buddy"?? Or are buddies only for girls that travel alone.... Sheesh its so much that goes into this whole process, but I know its sooo worth it all in the end :) Anyway beauties, looking forward to someone schooling me lol, thanks ;)

hey girl, well i was going to stay with a bunch of girls who are all getting something done and had different doc well either yily or duran and we were all booked around the same time. to me getting a buddy or buddies is to help each other out and cut cost! good luck on your travels, did u pick a doc and date yet?

First get acquainted with the ladies talk on phone see if you're compatible you don't want to be a clean freak and they are a slob nor do you want to e with a thief. Come to an understanding about expenses split cab far boarding. If you are staying for 10 days and they are staying for 12 you need to split cost accordingly document everything and keep track of it daily. If accommodations are paid for in advance then who's paying and who's reimbursing who

Have in death conversations with who you are considering rooming with talk on phone see if your compatible DONT be afraid to ask questions. You don't want to be a clean freak and they are a slob. You don't want to be rooming with someone you don't feel you can trust with your belongings. Discuss expenses that you have to share transportation, and accommodations....if you are staying for 10 days and they Re staying for 15 days then the expense must be divided according to shared time. Cost of transportation should be based on round trip not individually charged so clear this with your driver so if its $30 dollars then you split it $15 each.... If one pays for boarding in advance then discuss reimbursement of your portion to them..... Talk as much as possible and follow your gut and what it tells you if you get red flags talking then listen to your senses and move on DONT risk being badly matched

Hey nososhy :) Thanks for the info, I haven't picked out a dr. i'm stuck between Yily or Duran they both have dolls that look amazing! I just have to do a little more research on them to feel fully comfy, good luck on your surgery!

I. Don't have all the facts my sister told me. It is a secret fb group and it was announced in there she died from staff and had four kids this is all I know I will be added to the group In the am and will beable to tell u more sorry to alarm you all but I'm still going but sugesst u take your own antibiotics

You can ask for name of stronger antibiotics but if you can bring some I agree.....you don't need prescriptions in Dr to get meds you just walk in and ask for what you need and pay for it. So sorry to hear about that. Please find out details and if she was in here so sad

Well for one in Dominican Republic bakit are old antibiotics that are expired the United States donate stem to different countries So they are less effective so you must know if you want to stay therapy and stay safe bring your own antibiotics bring your own antibiotics bring your own iodine be cautious do not use your medicine

All I know is my sister was added to a Facebook group when I talk to her today she informed me of this situation she came down there a porn I finished yet I am I up boots job and I thought she looks great she did great iris office work right She told me today that she was added to a Facebook group that were on Dr Yulee and Dr the RAM patience and on the wall with that statement
