I am 48 yrs old considering breast implants... worried tho about not only the initial risks of surgery but of having to have additional surgery down the road when I would be even older and maybe not as healthy..

My mother-in-law got a BA last spring (2013) and she just turned 60 in November. She looks great.

I just turned 50 in August & had breast lift with saline implants on December 20th. This is the best thing I could have done for myself. I wish I would have done it in my 20's. I say, GO FOR IT!!! You only live once. ☺️☺️☺️

I think, it is based on the physical aging, not on the chronological age. Physical changes with aging varies with different individual. Even i have heard about a 70 year old woman who took facelift. My friend's mom who is 65 years old took eyelid surgery from Dr. Joseph Togba in California. I was doubtful whether the surgeon would refuse it. But he performed a detailed check up during the consultation and told that she was perfectly ok with taking the surgery!

Never to old to feel good about yourself. As long as you are doing this for yourself, and not to please someone else. I am 46 and just had a lift with implants. I have a pacemaker (yes, I'm very young to have one) so I needed clearance from my cardiologist, who gave me a big thumbs up.

You are not old at all. :P If you want you can go for it. But better to visit a doctor.

I am 47 and am 5 weeks post op and my recovery is much easier than I anticipated. My only regret is that I didn't do it long ago but so glad I did now! I think the key is if you are healthy and find an experienced quality surgeon. Don't shop around for the best deal when it comes to your body. Shop around for an experienced skilled surgeon.

I am so glad you posted this. I am 45 and have been thinking about this and researching for 20 years and finally have a date booked! Sept 12th! I am freaking out...it' always been the risks that have kept me back. Going with a great surgeon and have had several friends go through him.
