I don't think this type of surgery qualifies, but would be interested to hear otherwise.

I have learned that it only qualifies if is an impatient procedure, or if complications arise from the surgery itself.

I am actually taking FMLA from work. As long as it's written as Abdominal Surgery then it is processed through :)
