Can I fly after liposuction?

i have booked a operation for lipoustion early in the morning in belguim and i live in spain and wanted to fly back 9 hours after surgery i would feel alot more comfatable in my own bed and my own surrounding is this ok?

I don't think so. Flying after the liposuction is not advisable. You better have enough rest and stay for a while in the country.

That's a long flight. I had my liposculpture (multiple areas) in Mexico and live in California. Had my procedure done on Wednesday at 2:15 pm and flew back home the day after at 11:30 am -an hour and a half flight. What helped me was the fact that I still had anesthesia in my body thus no pain - I wouldn't do it on the second or third day after procedure when anesthesia wears off and pain kicks in.
