How to find the best Dr.

Hello, After two pregnancies I am ready for a mommy makeover, but how can I find which doctors are the best. I am skeptical about using the "Find a Top Doctor" link because I know all too well that people pay for these kinds of advertisements - especially on the internet. Advice on the next step?

Just wanted to chime in and say that the Top Doctor directory is, in fact, a free listing. (Yes, seriously... it's free!) There are sponsored ads on some of the pages but these are in boxes marked "RealSelf Sponsors" (like this).

Just thought you might find this info helpful since there are a few Pittsburgh doctors listed, as well as reviews posted from Pittsburgh.

Thanks. I only know one person who has had any plastic surgery - and they weren't happy with the results. I sent a private message to a member from Pittsburgh who highly recomended her PS - in fact she is getting more work done with him this year. I did a little further research on him online and turns out everyone is thrilled with his work. I will make a consultation with him - and maybe a few others that I find on RealSelf that seem reputable. Thanks for the advice!

Do you know anyone who has been through a mommy makeover (or had other good results from a cosmetic procedure) who could refer you? That's where I'd start. You can also comb through the listing of Pittsburgh doctors on RealSelf and read their answers to questions, etc. and reviews from others from Pittsburgh. They will give you a lot of insight.
