I just had my breast augmentation 2 weeks ago. I am 5ft4 tall, 117 lbs. I wear bra 34AAA--My breast is half a cup size in reality. My doctor got me 371cc Natrelle Midrange Profile Silicon. He said, I will have a Mid Size C cup. I went to Victoria Secret after 2 weeks and my breast fit into a 34B bra size. Will my breast gets bigger over time? Will I fit into Victoria Secret 34C when all is settle in? Thank you for all your help.

I wear 34 d but trust me my breast are not that big. I want to get 400 ccs do you think it will be too big? Or should I go with 350ccs? When I tried on 400ccs it looks good on me my surgeon said it will look smaller then how I'm trying it on under the bra, since it will go under the muscle. I'm 5ft 2 weight 150. Let me know your opinion. Don't want to be too big

My sister is contemplating a lift with implants, and I'm telling her in my opinion, it's best to go larger rather than smaller. It's all good until the swelling goes down, then there's disappointment and another surgery (more money) to switch to larger implants. I recommend taking a few pictures of EXACTLY what you like (without bra or clothing) to your surgeon because everyone's idea of great boobs is different. This is all subjective, opinions, and your idea of too big is different than my idea of too big and is different from the surgeon's idea of too big. Pictures are pretty good clarifiers, in my opinion. Good luck!

OMG, just tried that and it told me 42G????? I've been wearing Bali 48 C bras, and a couple of other makers, ALL of them 48 C. And those fit me just fine! I'm so confused! The one thing I DO know for certain is, my preop bras (48C) are all way too baggy on me. I just ordered a 48A bra from Woman Within and it's too big in the cup for me, too. WTH????

I just did that and was told 42G! I've been wearing 48C by Bali and a couple of other makers that fit me fine BEFORE my anchor lift and 475 cc HP gels under the muscle. Now, those bras are all very baggy in the cup. I'm 4-1/2 months postop and very sad. I just ordered a bra from Woman Within, 48 A cup, and it's too baggy, too. SO sad!

I'm 5'5 and almost 200lbs and want to go from a 36B to a 36D or DD, do anyone know how much ccs that would be about?

You're right. I'm going to dig up my implant ID card and see what I have. I was told 475 cc High Profile cohesive gels. No matter how I do the math, I can't see what happened. Taking out my old implants, removing the scar tissue, and the removal of tissue necessary to do the lift I'm guessing would have left me flat. So how, with 475 cc HP implants, am I actually so flat? I knew something was wrong the day of surgery, and I've been wondering ever since where are my boobs???? I saw her last week, she expressed no concerns and offered no explanation, seemed insulted I was unhappy and offered implant replacement minus surgeon's fee. I'm furious and sad, and seriously don't know what happened. Thank you for your input, I've been wondering if it's just me.

You are right, that makes no sense especially when you had other implants to compare these new ones with. Are you sure you got high profile? Usually when they are flat, they are more of the moderate profile. Nevertheless you went twice bigger this time so you would think that they would be bigger not smaller. If it were me I would go in there and present all the facts to her and ask to see your implant ID cards. If you post your concerns onto the ASK A DOCTOR section, you will see that they too would be surprised with this...If everything was the same except this time with bigger implants, it would be expected that you would end up with bigger implants! I would be furious...You should be at least one full size bigger. Don't settle, go back in there and talk to you PS

Honestly, something is not right. Not sure if I can state my opinion here but it sounds like she may of used implants from her office stock maybe instead of ordering new ones that you requested. I have high profiles too and I know that they stand out more than a moderate profile would.

Even if your old smaller ones were infront of the muscle and this time they are behind the muscle, you should not lose that much. The shape should still not be affected and they should of turned out to be bigger and round in shape.

I am 8 weeks postop BA. I was an A- cup before, and with 475 cc High Profile silicone gels under the muscle, I am not even a B cup. I really don't know what happened and my PS has no explanation. I'm wondering if there really are implants in there???

From all that I have read and having had several different sized implants over the years myself, to my knowledge is that a 500 cc implant is going to look one way on one person and look totally different on another person. That is with both girls being of the same pre-op cup size. Even it their build is similar, they will look different on each of them. Every girls chest structure is different. Mine is more concave and I am very slender with hardly any body fat. I have 600 cc high profiles gels and they are larger sized breasts but not huge.

I am 5'5 and 200 lbs. With this surgery, my old implants from 30 years ago were removed. They were 225 cc silicone gel over the muscle. The morning of surgery I had big, round boobs that I loved, I was a DD cup. The surgery was to remove the old implants (they had ruptured,) mastopexy, and new implants to give me BIGGER boobs. So I'm absolutely stunned that my new implants, more than double the size of the old ones that were removed that day, have given me very small, wide, flat boobs. There are no words to express how disappointed and depressed I am. I was very clear with my PS about my expectations, thought we had good communication, and when I saw her last week she couldn't believe I was unhappy with the result. I have wide, flat, shapeless boobs now that can't even fill out a B cup now. I'm so, so sad.

Do you have any idea how you ruptured? curious because i have Implants too

My implants were more than 30 years old and my guess is that they simply weren't meant to last that long. They ruptured within the envelope, so no silicone floating around in my body. I also wonder if the extensive scar tissue that had built up around them may have contributed to the ruptures. BTW, I now have 800 mL silicones, High Profile, and I LOVE them. I'm a big girl, tho. 240 pounds.

I am a size 32 DDD (according to a certain line of bras) I am 5"7 and weigh 127 pounds. I have high profile 600 cc round smooth. If I could of gone back in time I would of went 500 but I am also 44 and had even larger ones (saline 750 cc) and I prefer the way they look now rather than with the salines. They looked very round and balloonish, and I am a pretty slender person.

Ok all of you who are confused about what size your boobs are going to be or are, here is my suggestion: go to the website linda the bra lady. There is a calculator on this site. Measure around your ribs right under the breasts wearing a light bra or tank top. Type in that exact number where you should on the page. Then measure around the fullest part of the breast. Subtract the band size number . Whatever number you get type it in the box for it. Do not add to the band size. I measure 28 band and 34 around boobs making me a 30dd-e. I have 325 Mentor HP gel placed under the muscle. I wear a triple d in wacoal and chantelle bras. I never thought I would be a triple much less a d cup, I was just hoping to be a c. With that being said I don't look ridiculously huge or anything. Get properly fitted.

I think it varies for many reasons, placement of implants, chest muscles, implant type ect. I was a 32AA prior to my surgery. I had 338 cc implants placed about a month ago and I am currently a 32D.

Great advice..thanks so much. I actually go back on 1/10/12 to see what she says. I had to be put into a special ordered bra called thongbra to help separate my boobs (help form a good clevage) they say going with big implants has a higher chance of this complication. I am so ready to be put into a real bra and see what my size is going to be, also to be able to exercise again. I am a daily exerciser and I'm having withdrawals.

I had 325 mentor hp gel placed under the muscle on 11-18-11. At my 6 week post op my ps told me I could go get fitted. I went to 2 reputable places (not Victoria's Secret!!) and my band size measured a 28-30. I was told both places that measuring a 28-30 makes you a 28-30 NOT a 32! The bra specialists put me in a 30ddd. I can also wear a dd and an e depending on the manufacturer. I am going to order a 28f and see how it feels since I was told at both places a 28 would probably be more accurate as you want the band to lay completely flat against the ribs in between the breasts. I am a personal trainer and fitness instructor and I have gone back to work; the only issue is upper body weight training, have to slowly ease back into that. Both bra specialists also told me that I was probably wearing the wrong size bra before my surgery more than likely I was a 28-30 b/c instead of the 34a I was wearing. After surgery get properly fitted at a place like Nordstroms or Dillard's where they are certified.

i had BL with BA done on 11-30-11. I was a deflated D/DD due to breast feeding 2 kids and losing almost 90 pounds. I went with moderate plus silicone 475/500cc, and it has been 5 weeks since surgery and i dont feel like i look any bigger on the bottom in clothes. I hope that once they drop they will look bigger in shirts. they still are high and look big at the top but want them to look full on the bottom too. Has anyone had the same issue and can u tell me if this look will change?
