If there is any weight gained it's from the swelling from healing. Don't focus on the scale right now. & from the tt you should feel fuller fast after eating due to the ab wall becoming tighter. So if u eat healthy & drink plenty of water initial fat weight gain won't happen - in fact you may loss. :)

It stopped happening to me. Mine was from wearing a super tight binder!

Yes more water and less sodium. Omg..I had a cup of noodles the 3rd day after surgery and i blew up like a balloon. Didnt feel right at all! But that was the ab. i forgot how much sodium is in one of those cups of noodles. I have since then almost completely taken sodium out of my diet and continue to drink plenty of fluids. I haven't experienced any swelling in the legs, ankles or feet tho. But yes, call your PS - they will always put your mind at ease.

oh! this happens to me! I was just freaking about this myself. I realized it was a binder I was wearing, It was so tight that it made my feet and ankles swell. While it's summer and I seem to be a little more swollen anyway, once I stopped wearing that binder it's not as bad.

It sure does and watch how much sodium your taking in. I also have more trouble after being in the sun.

The first week after surgery I did have swelling from the knees on down. Called the doctor and he told me to drink more fluids to flush the system. It worked..but you should always call your doctor if you are worried about a symptom. Better safe than sorry.

You might want to contact your surgeon about this. Here's what some doctors have to say about ankle swelling after lipo (not sure if you had lipo with your tummy tuck or not, but the guidance is probably still valid).
