Hi, I recently had fraxel re:store treatment for five times and see improvements. However I have one minor concern: during the treatment my doctor did not ask me to wear a eye mask. I kept my eyes firmly closed, but my eyes could feel a 'red light' twinkling outside. I am worried if this red light is actually the laser and if this would cause any harm to my eyes. Although my eyes didn't feel any pain nor suffer loss of eyesight afterwards, I am still worried. Would there be any long-term effect later on? I tried to search on the internet and see some photos and videos. Some people do fraxel with eye masks, some without. Just out of curiosity. Can anyone advise? Thanks!
