Has anyone experienced uncomfortable tightness?

By HelenAl on 02 Feb 2012

Hi everyone,   I had upper eyelid surgery three weeks ago. One eye feels nearly normal. The other eye, which still has more swelling, feels still very tight and unnatural. Can anyone tell me if they experienced such tightness and how long it lasted?  Thanks.

Hi Helen, how are things now? I am at 9 weeks I think, (had surgery 12th Feb 2012). My eyelids are starting to feel more natural and look better than they feel! Sometimes they feel quite tight and I have a slight pulling on the inner eye between lid and nose. Am having it checked by a plastic surgeon tomorrow, second opinion ;)

Hi there, everyone will tell you the same...three weeks is far too soon to worry about small differences. I am 6 weeks plus and changes are still happening. The swelling has still not gone but the uneveness that I had at the beginning has gone. Good luck!!!

I had upper and lower bleph done 3wks ago, and I still have one eye that still feels and looks tight. It still feels unnatural as well, it looks a smaller and not healing as quickly as my left eye. I`m hoping its just because of the swelling.
