Does anyone have experience with a pillow system for the bed?

I have a little less than a week until my surgery and purchased the Comfort Dreams Zero Gravity Adjustable 3-Piece Wedge System. It has not arrived yet but after reading that some ladies bought rented recliners and such, I am second guessing this. If you have used a pillow system post surgery, what was your experience?
