Excision for a chicken pox scar?

Hello, I've tried laser genesis and even a collagen filler. But nothing has worked and someone told me about getting an excision. I've asked my dermatologist about getting an excision but she said not to get it because it will leave me with a bigger scar than I already have, but I feel like I have no other options and she did not offer me any other options because she said my scar was so small and it should be left alone. What do I do? Thank you
