I had a unilateral mastectomy with a tissue expander implanted on May 10,2013. On October 16th I had the tissue expander removed a silicone implant put in its place. My plastic surgeon also performed a breast augmentation and lift on my left side in order to achieve symmetry. It is five weeks post op and I am super unhappy with the results; as is my surgeon. My right implant on the mastectomy side has dropped below the inframammary fold and looks "Bottomed Out". Meanwhile, my left implant is so high on my chest my entire breasts is pointing downward. My surgeon does not believe it is going to drop on its own and I am suffering from a pectoral spasm that won't allow the implant to drop. She want to do surgery again on january 6th (which would be 12 weeks post op from my recon) to fix the implant and breast shape on the left and reconstruct the inframammary fold on the mastectomy side using internal permanent sutures. Has anyone else had this severe of a complication right after reconstruction. I knew I would probably need tweaking, but this seems a lot more than just tweaking to me.
