Anyone else have them this long?

Hello, my saline implants are still going strong after 22 years. I've been fit, active and healthy, no regrets whatsoever. I do realize they need to be removed/replaced and am in the process of doing so, but I was wondering if anyone else has had their original saline implants for a long period of time?

As surgeries, go, I found the procedure not nearly as difficult as expected; I was up taking walks around the neighborhood a few days later, and even ran a race shortly after the doc gave medical clearance to do so.
I'm sure this has been stated elsewhere, but if anyone is close to their surgery date and is considering size, listen well to the surgeon; they generally have a good eye for proportion. It's tempting to go larger, especially if one has been small-breasted, but remember that breasts that are too large will make the body look heavier; and it's more difficult to "dress" a figure with very large breasts; for example, empire waists and 36 DD do not go well together... Listen to the doc, they have training and experience in this matter and it does not serve them well to have out-of-proportion patients as walking non-advertisements for their work.
If I have one silly grump about implants, it's because I listened to my breast-mad boyfriend rather than the doc and went just a bit too large. I have grumped a bit about the two sports bras I have to wear as a 36D. A 36C wouldn't have had to wear two sports bras...
One last note, I was able to breast feed two children without problem with implants...I've also been able to have mammograms with few issues, experienced technicians know how to grasp the breast tissue around the implant and not pinch, ouch! Ask for a technician who has worked with implants.
Yes, indeed, I have heard of that. This lady had hers 30 years (though they were silicone. This lady had hers 26 years. I hope this helps and please let us know what direction you decide to take.
