Anyone go to Dr. Thomas Su in Tampa?

I just had a consult with Dr. Su and i really like him and would love to have him due to lipo since that is all he does but he is expensive. $10,500 for a wrap, which is all around the abdomen. I like it that he does his surgery at his office and that you are awake and that he makes you stand up so he can have you bend over to see the bulges that pop out since when you are laying down the surgeon cant really see that. Also, Dr. Su doesnt charge you if you have a bulge or something and need a follow up. If anyone has seen him or can recommend another great doctor that does lipo only please let me know!!

Dr Su is good I went to him for the wrap but is is VERY painful the office staff made it out to be no big deal but it is Please believe me you will be in PAIN for a MONTH and numb for a few months I got mine done last OCT and still sting at times.. email me at Lizas@hotmail.com if you have any more questions.. Watch out for Bassin! I've read a lot of bad things about him. There is a different thread on this site that goes into detail. That scared me away from having the procedure period, and certainly with him. Apparently he even tried to sue a patient who posted here. Scary.

I did not go with Dr. Su, but am going to go with Dr Castor in Tampa Palms. Dr. Su seemed good, but he is an internist, not a plastic surgeon, and I fell Dr. Castor is the better doctor all around.

Hi Eeka,

Congratulations on choosing your doctor! I think the most important thing is that you do your research and choose the doctor you feel most comfortable with. When is your surgery?

Anyone have an opinion on the Bassin Center for plastic Surgery in Tampa I had a consult with Dr. Mendoza anyone used him for smart lipo. Dr. Su is closer for me but it looks like Dr Mendoza has better ratings.. Any suggestions???
