Dr Tattlebaum

Hello, I'm new to this site.  I've mostly read the stories, but now have questions for any of Dr. Tattlebaum's patients.  I've had two consults, one being Dr. T.  I have decided that I want him to do my tummy tuck.  The other PS was great too, but his belly button's didn't look right to me.  Dr. T's looks more natural and I love how low and that Dr. T puts his scars.  I'm hoping to book my surgery date as soon as I can find the time I need from work.  I'm hoping in February/March time frame. He was so friendly and answered so many of my questions before I even asked him any.  LOL!  I have stretch marks way above my BB so I am hoping that he can get most of them under my bb.  I'm very petite and had a 10 lbs baby so my stretch marks are pretty bad above my bb.....My question is, did any of you have any problems at all after he did your tucks?   Any regrets at all?  Thank you all!!

You can check out my profile. I'm a month post op and I have no regrets and barring something extraordinary, I don't think I will. Dr. T is personable, a good communicator, and is very experienced, so I am pleased. He is very realistic, which I appreciate! It's all about finding someone who is the right fit for you. For me, it was Dr. T.

Never too late, Dr. T is worth bragging about. He has a rock star reputation on this site but when you meet him you will find he is really incredibly humble and highly skilled surgeon.

Hello Usmcwifey! I am late to the party and I have to say that I have only one regret........and that's not getting my TT years ago but then again I am happy that I waited until I meet Dr. T! YES it's true I want him to walk me down the aisle when I get married, he is that special to me! LOL! My surgery/recovery were extremely easy and I had no issues at all. I am now 20 something weeks post opt and I LOVE the new me! I have no problem sharing my story and because of it I already have one co worker that is scheduled for her Dr. Tattelbaum TT in Feb and two others with pending consults! You will not regret your decision and I hope your journey will be as easy and comfortable as mine! And if you have any questions we are here for you.......as you can tell the other Dr. T dolls ROCK!

Thank you so much for responding cherrybabi! I'm so excited but at the same time SO nervous of this surgery. I just hope that Dr. T works his magic on me like he has done to all you ladies! He truly is amazing!! My surgery date is next month February 21st. I too hope that my recovery is as smooth as yours was. You look AMAZING!!

Hey doll! Being nervous is NORMAL! I tried to get my supervisor and co worker to talk me out of my surgery the day before because I was terrified! But you will be fine and Dr. T and his staff will take excellent care of you. You still have plenty of time to prepare but it will fly by so don't be caught off guard when you realize you still have things to do around the house! LOL!

Skinnywaist, I have no idea how to post pictures on this site. I will have to mess around and see how that works. I'm calling Dr. T's office tomorrow to see what dates in February he can do my surgery. I will keep you all posted. As for the underwear to be marked in, how skimpy should I go? Is it better to go as skimpy as possible. I have really bad stretch marks above my belly. I know that he won't be able to get rid of them all, but if he can pull them underneath my BB, I would be SO thrilled! I'm about 5'4.5 and 125 lbs. I hope I have enough skin. I can't wait to have this done, but yet I'm so scared!! LOL!!

Go to my review or any tummy tuck review, look top left corner it says 95% Worth It, under that click on- Write a review. Then you can share our own story and add pictures. Sometimes the site doesn't automatically link your PS, when you enter their name. You can send an inbox message to Kimmers25. If you need help, she will help you.

Thank you so much! I will definitely do that! I need to get some pics taken. I've NEVER taken pics of my bare tummy before. So crazy. I can't wait to look as good as all of Dr. T's patients do!! :)

did you see the pics of the undies i wore to be marked in?!? hahaha

I just did! Oh my gosh, he didn't mind it being that little? I think I'm going to bring something that tiny with me to be marked in. You all look so amazing. Wow. I hope to be able to look just half as good. Seriously. His work is amazing!! I just wish I wasn't so fearful of this surgery. I've been under anesthesia before so I'm not so worried about that. It's the pain afterwards. I am also afraid that if mine doesn't turn out as good as the pictures I've seen of you all and on his website, I'm going to regret going through all this and spending the money. I'm such a worry wart, I swear. LOL! I know Dr. T will do his best and make me look as amazing......Just gotta keep reminding myself of that. LOL!

Thank you all for answering my questions! I have already decided that I definitely want Dr. T to do my tummy tuck. I'm just trying to find a good time in February/March timeframe to do it. Taking time off at work is crazy sometimes. How much time do you think I should take off to heal? I work at a desk job so I'm hoping that I can go back after 2 weeks. I also am not telling anyone at work. I am just telling them that I need the time off for female surgery. I asked Dr. T if he would give me a doctors note that didn't say anything about the procedure, but that I was having surgery and needed x amount of days off. He said that it wouldn't be a problem. I really love his personality and how down to earth he is. I can't wait to book my surgery date! I know it's going to be painful, but I just hope that I have no complications. I also looked at your pictures and I can't believe how perfectly THIN and LOW the scars are!! I LOVE that!! I've seen other PS pics and some look like hack jobs!! So scary. If you have any more advice, please keep them coming. I appreciate them all! You girls are awesome!! Thank you!!

Can you start a review and add pics so we can follow your results? I am so excited for you. In my review, I have a lot of fluff and venting going on but a few helpful "lists" that you may enjoy reading for info. Regarding time off work, I think 2-3 weeks is needed. I couldn't stand up straight until recently at 4 weeks post op. But I was doing pretty well at 2 weeks and really well at 3 weeks. If your job is mostly sitting you could probably handle going back in 2 weeks. I know, it's scary... some PS do crazy incisions. Dr. T is a pro. This recovery is just as emotional for some reason as it is physical. Maybe b/c we are analyzing our bodies like never before, I don't know? This website is so nice for support during your recovery. And just reading lots of stories is comforting. ;-)

I had a tummy tuck and flanks lipo with Dr. Tattelbaum on Nov 1st. I'm one month post op today! I'm feeling great. Check out my pictures. I think I look amazing too. :-) Dr. T knows what he is doing. I have no regrets. I love him so much an will forever be grateful to him for my new sexy body. Dr. Tattelbaum is an honestly a kind person too and provides excellent after care, which is really important. The recovery can be emotional and having a caring doctor makes a difference. Not sure where you are located. I'm sure there are many excellent PS's around in different cities. In my opinion, Dr. Tattelbaum is the best in the MD/DC area.

oh, cherrybabi mentioned something about having Dr. T walk her down the aisle if she ever got married. yes, she is picking Dr. T over her own dad. Helene just went back to him for larger implants. she does figure competitions and her stomach looks amazing! the scar has faded into nothing pretty much and she said she never did scar therapy. i never thought i would EVER be in a bikini. now I'm thinking i could and no one would even know i had work done! i can't say enough good things about my experience!

Hello! did we meet at Dr. T's office?? I have NO regrets! Dr. T has been doing this for so long he's like a grand master. haha... he's truly fantastic and I don't believe anyone could have given me a better result, he thought of everything! only thing to note, the recovery is long for this! I'm still swelling when i move around a lot and I have a lot of tightness in my whole stomach still. can't be parted from my cg for more than an hour and I think this can persist for the 3 months. Dr. T told me all of that initially, but I guess I didn't believe him! good luck!

He is the best! :) I haven't had mine yet but check out my comments section of my "review" (you should start one too!) because a LOT of "Team Tattelbaum" has commented on mine (WildOrchids, HelenesTransformation, cheribabi, etc) and I don't want to speak for them but I'm pretty certain they have 0 regrets whatsoever. Best of luck in this process!! I have 13 days to go and I'm starting to get so nervous/excited!
