has anybody had dr. philip schoenfeld (Chevy Chase, MD) for rhinoplasty or any other surgical procedure?

I met Dr. Schoenfeld at the end of August 2011 because I was having some issues breathing through my nose and I was interested in rhinoplasty. After just a few min. of meeting him I was totally at ease. He identified my medical issues perfectly, and took pictures of nose. He was very realistic with what he could cosmetically, and spent a ton of time answering my questions. I was anxious to get the surgery over with, and his office was extremely accommodating with working with my schedule and fitting me in. Leading up to the surgery his office checked in with me and handled all aspects of arranging the surgery for me. The day of the surgery Dr. Schoenfeld spent a lot of time talking to me again, and reassuring me it would go well- which is did. I got multiple phone calls that evening and the day after surgery to make sure I was doing well. I really felt like I got VIP treatment. I recently got the splint off and I could not be happier with the results. My nose is still a bit swollen, but I can already see that it fits my face perfectly. It is a great width, not too thin, and not too wide and the tip is prefect. Most of all, it looks natural. Plus, I am already noticing that I can breath/smell better. I would 100% recommend Dr. Schoenfeld and his excellent staff. Best money I have ever spent!

I had the completely opposite experience to Washington8. I had a nose job with Dr. Schoenfeld about 5 months ago. I am overjoyed with the results. The nose "matches" me perfectly. It has the perfectly straight bridge and I love the tip, although it still seems a bit swollen. I think Dr. Schoenfeld is a true expert at what he does. I would give his work a 10/10. For real.

I'm sorry to hear that and thank you so much for being so kind to share your experience with me. I'd love a little more detailed description about the problems and what he promised and the actual results if possible. But anyway, I so much appreciate your help and wish you all the best.

He did a rushed and sloppy job on my face and now says I am imagining it. There are several things messed up, and one that needs a corrective procedure/re-do and he won't. He is condescending and a tad bit dishonest. Once he has your money and rushes through the surgery and ust wants you gone and doesn't really want to deal with you after that. Every concern or question or problem you have, he will deny. I now have to find someone else to fix what Schoenfeld messed up. What he delivered was very far off from wha he said he was doing -- it's like he only did half the job and quit.
