Considering Dr. Mendieta for my Brazialian Butt Lift. Good Choice? Do You Have Any Other Recommendations?

I am looking to hear from those that had the brazilian butt lift done with Dr. Mendieta. I have been doing research and he appears to be amongst the most experienced out there. Please share your experience and before/after photos if you have had your procedure done by him. Would you recomend him? Do you recomend anyone else instead? How satisifed are you with your results? I want to do this in 3 weeks!I am eating like a pig because he said I needed 5 more pounds. I only weigh 118 now and im 5'1

That's a tough one. Maybe you can email him and ask to speak to a recent patient, or see recent pics? He's one of the Miami names I hear a lot, so there must be someone out there. :)

Im going to Dr. S in miami, fl. He does nice work from what I can tell. I have met with him and his price range actually fits my budget.

Hi! Thanks for responding! How much is he charging you? Mendieta is charging me 10k! That's a lot of money, but his work appears to be great from the before and after photos on his site.

How many cc did he predict being able to give you just asking cuz im 5'2 and 140 and I was told 400 cc and I want more then that so im looking at going with compos just waiting to hear back

That's a good question ... We never spoke in terms of "cc's". He showed me what I'd look like afterward once I put in an extra 5lbs and I was happy with what I saw so I didn't even ask about cc's ... I probably should have. Who is Compos?

Hes a dr I read about on here that does really good work if you check out Millz and Jasmine on here they both went to him and got great results

At the moment I'm not over joyed with Dr Mendieta's procedures and policy's. Take this as a warning. At the moment I need a revision surgery to fix what I believe should not have been a issue and they want me to pay more money to get it fix... If you're interested in the whole story please email me

I had a bbl w mendieta last march. I was an out of town patient. I do not recommend him. My results are not what I expected. The lipo on my stomach and legs are uneven. My right buttock is higher than the left. Nearly one year later I still have dark skin markings that resemble bruising. The after care was a nightmare. The nurses treaed me like a prisoner. I recently got an estimate of how much $$ it would take to fix his mistakes.....13k$. I can't begin to tell you my regret in choosing this man. Please don't make the same mistake as I did!!!!

Sorry to hear Laurenese. I too chose him and the results are not what I expected, but I'm yet to "say I regret it". I am giving it time to see how my body responds and what it all looks like when swelling goes down. You should post a review and include before and after photos. That's always a lit of help and very convincing.

You can also Google search Dr mendieta reviews... You will see reviews at vitals.com if you read the reviews you can tell all the positive 5* were written by the same person w close dates. There are lots of 1* that were written by people w similar stories as me.

Dr Mendieta obviously has become so over confident with his work. My body was also left like LAURENse. I was left with saddlebags on my hips and thighs. I'm also being asked to pay an outrageous amount to money to fix what he created. I regret ever having this surgery performed by him. I also can't afford an additional 13k to resolve my problem.

That's exactly what he also left me w--- saddlebags and hips when I told him specifically not to give me hips. He does what he wants to do!!! It's so upsetting to look in the mirror.

I'm sorry girls... :( he should really be correcting what he did??? Its bad eought u have to go theough the pain TWICE u shouldnt have to pay twice.. have you tried discussing this with him?? What has he said??? Any reputable doctor should not leave bad work on a patient, althought work cannot be garunteed 100% to perfection they should be willing to rectify their mistakes at no charge????

I really was considering his as he seems to be the most perfecitonist at sclupting (going by the photos HE posted on his website.. Wish there were more reviews/photos on here so people could make an informed UNBIAS decision).. but now im back to square one :(

He doesn't back up his work. You get what he gives you and that's that. He made me gain 15 lbs and that was a painful experience as well. He could post a million photos of "his work" , these days w photo shop and every other technology... Is it really safe to go by photos?? its a huge decision and unfortunately I made the wrong one. I don't think he is honest w his patients. I am speaking out now because if someone did to me last year I would've really reconsidered. Good luck.

thanks hun, but i guess thats the risk u take with any doctor u choose.. u can never know.. but its a shame he will not correct ur work i would think a doctor would want to make his patient happy at if not for the selfish reason to have a good image out there.. so im sorry to hear that he wont for u.. :(

I have to agree with Lauren... He doesn't back up his work and when I commented on the quality of his work I got attitude and was told the saddle bags where always there. As if I didn't have a clue as to how my body looked prior to surgery. It's a nightmare I wish would just go away each and every time I undress in front of a mirror =(
