Rhinoplasty in NYC

i am so sorry for you . i had him years ago and it was terrible. i need major reconstructive surgery and this was told to me by a true leading expert up in new hanpshire. i have posted other comments about him , but i guess my anger was so obvious that they weren't allowed on this site. they were deleted. he probably had something to do with that also!!!!!! he knows how to promote himself and he uses other doctors to promote him also. he had done a few celebrities wives and such and milks this for all he can, plus his affiliation with a majr leading facility, makes it appear that he is better than he is. it really is, all in who you know and how you play the game to advance yourself. they ALL claim that they are artists in that field anyway.
p. surgery has become so promoted, and everyone wants to look as good as they can in this competitive world. we all get sucked into this while making them millionaires and they laugh all the way to the bank. and i bet they have a lot of jokes at the expense of their patients also. i think that there are a few plastic surgeons out there that have real character and integrity, but he is not one of them. he is a sociopath. don't go back to him if you can help it. the heartbreak goes on................................doesn't it? wishing you the best.

Wow. I believe it. I never addressed my breathing but it is DEFINATLEY altered on my left side and I've become a snorer when I wasn't before. Hopefully these blogs will come up in a Google search and people will think twice. I am sure 5 out of ten people woud not be happy with a nose job even if the surgeon was good..however the fact that I and others are still taking the time to blog about our experiences years later (4 in my case) should speak volumes. Unless you have a simple bump on your nose GO ELSEWHERE!!!

me again. it is true. you trust these physicians WITH YOUR LIFE, they put you out with a drug, you lay on a table, COMPLETELY DEFENSELESS!!! the doc is supposed to be in your corner!!! and they can do what they want pretty much. i never had sleep apnea either until he got a hold of me. it is clinically 'moderately severe'. cpap machine didn't work well for me. i remember the days, i call, instead of 'b.c.', 'B.T.', when to get away from the cares of the day, i would snuggle in the security of my cozy bed. ay yes, quiet, blissfull, slumberland. sometimes i would sleep so well, i would wake up 8 hours later in the same position, from sleeping like a rock, uninterupted. those days are gone!!!i now wake up, more exhausted, then the night before. like they say, with sleep apnea, everytime your snore or snort, wakes you up, it is just like being in a rear end collision in a vehicle. and it can be dozens and dozens of times a night!!!!! it takes YEARS off your life!!!HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!!!!

hi I am Asian and I am going to have surgery with him in two week's time, after reading your comment, I am really really nervous now , could you please tell me if your nose feels like larger after that surgery and how do you know that her website images are photoshopped ? ( this is pretty serious accusation for the intergrity of a doctor .) really appreciate your help.

I cannot say for sure the photos are photoshopped, but the women in the after shot (the black woman and 2 others) obviously had professionally done makeup and appear to have been edited. I am sure he has done an amazing job with others..all I can do is share my personal experience and my nose is STILL long wide and huge and he slightly adjusted the look of my nose, by placing to dent like 'things' that really alter the look of my entire face. Did he botch me ? No. Does it look natural? Yes. My own MOTHER did not notice a difference and 2 of my friends (who had work done elswhere) suggested I should sue him..because it looks almost the same. This is something I wanted done for such a long time and every day I look in the mirror I am so sorry I chose him. If I could figure out how 2 post a pik of my nose here I would (I'm on my blackberry) if you have an email I can send an image to you and you can see for yourself. I chose not to sue or even go back to that office..the thought of it makes me sick..eventually perhaps I will go again..I expressed my extreme unhappiness during my follow up and was assured it wouldn't fully heal for 2-3 years.well its been 3 And I still hate my nose. Visually if Dr T took out a ruler, he could argue that he did make SUPER SLIGHT changes in the protusion and maybe size of the nostrils. But the fact that's its still LONG, FAT, WIDE and unattractive and now FLARES because f the dents he put in..gosh.. This is upsetting me. Surely I sound like I'm ranting..and if you have minor changes that need to be made maybe you will be fine. Smart of you to do your research prior..wish I had. I want a secondary w/ Dr. Davis in Florida..I am told he fixes a lot of Dr. Ts. Nose's. (Haven't met, spoken or even emailed him yet..so NO I ma not affiliated) I read @ him on a nother blog that I found after my rhino..I cannot recall the name of it but if u google rhinoplasty forums you may locate it..it was not the makemeheal one.

I just wrote a LONG reply..for some reason its not posting perhaps due to the fact I'm using my blackberry. If there is a way to get my email from this site pls email me or provide one and I can respond as well as show you photos. My own mother didn't notice I had anything done. So natural yes. But still big and ugly yes and yes. Trust your gut. Perhaps he has done a great job with others..for me not so much.

thanks so much for your timely reply , I am so sorry for what you have experienced. Dr T did told me that the change can be minimal due to the thick nasal skin of asians. I am not worry about that because I just want a refinement of my current nose , but what really worries me is the small dent you talked about on your nose , I am not sure about your ethinicity so I don't know if he will take the same approach for my surgery. if you really don't mind , could you email the pic of pre and post pic to my email box so I can see myself. ( only if you are comfortable with it, you can just show your nose and block other part of your face). really hope you can find a good revision surgeon , maybe you can consult with Dr sam Rizk from nyc, I have consulted with him but he is way too drastic for my taste but maybe ( just maybe ) this is what you would like for more change. I don't have them yet. Swelling takes a long time to go down so after photos are scheduled for later on. I was supposed to go this Friday for after, but can't make it!

Go for consultation with Dr. Tobias. See other doctors as well and make a choice for the one who's work or portfolio you like the best! I like dr Tobias bc I have very natural results. It doesn't look like a nose job. Another reason I went with dr Tobias was he is specializing in noses. I would want to go with someone that does everything under the sun. Nose is most complexed procedure in plastics. People from all over the world come to see dr Tobias.
I had as well personal recommendation from a friend so it added to the confidence in my choice.

Years ago I had 2 injuries to my nose. First one I was drunk licking up spilled beer off a floor, and someone kicked my head into the ground by accident, my nose hitting the floor first. The bottom of my nose was split open with cartilage damaged. The second injury I was drunk again, and fell and hit my nose on a spike breaking it instantly. I went to one plastic surgeon and had work done but there was no success; I couldn’t breath right and my nose was still deformed. I went to other plastic surgeons and they said there was nothing they can do. So I prayed to God and luckily found Dr. Geoffrey Tobias website. He met with me for a consultation, and was very realistic and honest. I didn’t know what my nose was going to look like if he operated ,but he told me it was going to be more balanced. Looks can only get you so far, and then its how much money do you have. So looking good will do little for you, and when Dr. Tobias operates he performs art work, so you are not going to have every guy wanting to have sex with you, and maybe you'll find a guy that can appreciate it. But I am sure if Dr. Tobias performed and offered additional plastic surgery procedures he could have just about every guy wanting you. To be honest its not going to do that much for you unless you have a deformed or ugly nose. But if you have the operation you will look better and feel better about yourself. I don't know how old you are; its not like when we were younger and looks was a major factor, but then we got older and money became a factor too. Look at Donald Trump he is an ugly son of a bitch that is married to a model because he has the money. When I call Donald Trump an ugly son of a bitch, I don't really mean that; I mean his looks aren't all there and he is married to a model because he has the money. I take what I said back being better looking can get you more if you are a woman, possible a better man if you are single, or your looks can even make a man more dedicated. Plastic surgery is the thing for woman to do, however I am not a pretty boy and I am a man and played ruff got ruffed up with injuries. So thats why I had plastic surgery. I am researching Tobias as a surgeon now. How did your consult go? Did you decide to go with him? If so, how is your outcome? If not, who else did you decide on and how was your outcome? Thanks!

I am also looking into Tobias for a revision. Have you made a decision yet? Are you looking at other drs in NYC?
