I am looking for advice as to who to use/narrow it down to for a:- bulbous tip- hanging columella- nostril reduction- crooked nostrilsand my nose is as hard as a rock.  i had an open rhino ten years ago and am looking for some refinement.  there is nothing worse than when i smile - my nose is HUGE and crooked at the base and you can see into my nostrils.

I just had a rhinoplasty/ septoplasty with doctor Pastorek. He is amazing!! I am thrilled with mine.i had my cast off yesterday and I know he had just done an extremely complicated revision (someone else's primary) on a gal who had been crying tears of joy in his office when he was done. I loved him too. Good luck!!

this is your first post which makes me skeptical; do you have before/after pics? how old is he now and what did you pay?

I get the skepticism and don't blame you but I am for real :) I am going to post my before and afters once my swelling goes down and I am ready to unveil. I had had been considering surgery for a long time ( 20 years!) and had a hump, long nose, with a droop - a lovely consequence of getting older- it's droops more!! I decided to do it and did tons and tons of research. It is scary. Everyone has some bad reviews. I initially was thinking tabbal...But he has some really really bad reviews. It's hard to know. Daniel baker was one I was seriously considering that is not on your short list. I had set up consults with loeb, pastorek, would have called baker and then also azzizadeh in la. But I met with pastorek and ended up canceling them all and just going with him and booking at my consult! I liked him that much. His fee was 12,500. I think total was 14,500 with manhattan ear eye fees, anesthesia. etc. Pastorek charged 350$ for consult which is not applied to his surgery but I didn't care about that. I really had a great experience and just want to share it because a few months ago I was on here trying to weed through all if this too!!! It is scary...It is your face! I just wanted the best and didn't care how much it was- I was ready and realistic and it is so hard to know who is best. I do know that pastorek does tons of revision surgery and back in the 90s was the president of the board of facial plastic surgeons. To answer your questions about his age. I think he is in his in his early 70's or late 60's but I liked this because he is so experienced. I probably sound like a commercial! But again just had a wonderful experience that I want to share. I think Daniel baker would be good for you to explore as well because of your revision. Hope this isn't too long!!! Let me know if you have any more questions. I'll post pics in about a week.

Finally, a response!! :) Thank-you so much! I plan on making consults with these four docs but wanted to see if there was someone else out there or which out of these four docs might be the best?
