Dissolvable sutures on the outside?

I assume I have dissolvable sutures since I'm almost 3 weeks post-op and he's never taken any out, but I've never seen anyone else on here talk about having them. My incision seems to be healing very nicely, as well as my belly button. Anyone else have them???

Yes mine were totally internal dissolvable sutures. I had a thin coat of surgical glue on the outside of my incision which wore off over a two week period. Healed very nicely.

Thanks for responding! I was beginning to think I was the only person to ever have this kind! I have my 4-week appt. on Tuesday...I guess we will see what he does!
