How did you discover your favorite skincare products?

My frustration in finding a skincare line for my skin is growing. I've spent hundreds on all kinds of lotions--from Arbonne to Zia. None have helped reduce the fine lines or give me a dewy look. What did u do to find your fav face cream or lotion? Go to a dermatologist?

I read from a blog about the benefits of Vitamin C serum to the skin. Serums has the ability to go deeper into the skin and Vitamin C brighten the skin and help reduce the appearance of pigmentation and age spots. I researched online and came across Triple Action Vitamin C Serum by Voilave, I found it on Amazon. I'm so happy that I tried the product, it made my skin smooth, refreshed and younger looking. This product is affordable and works well for me. Try it too. :D

I discovered that Vitamin C is a powerful Anti-oxidant that works on the collagen synthesis and fades pigmentation on the surface of the skin. So I have tried this brand named Triple Action Vitamin C Serum by VoilaVe from Amazon. This has an anti aging ingredient. I have also seen on youtube that we can also make our own Serum, you need vegetable glycerine + water + vit.C powder but if you don't have the time and patience to do all this just order it from Amazon :) http://www.amazon.com/Triple-Action-Vitamin-Serum-Hyaluronic/dp/B00FFANXMM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382539999&sr=8-1&keywords=vitamin+c+serum

Really a big question that puzzles a lot. There are so many products and we think all are safe for us and will do good for our skin. I think, Obagi products are really helpful to revitalize the skin and it works fine. Obagi Nu Derm Kit is one of the finest product. All the products are scientifically researched and free from any allergens. I prefer obagi. To buy the obagi products, follow this link:http://www.skinvogue.com

My friend sells for Rodan + Fields and I love the redefine. She tried to get me to try it about two years ago and I resisted, but I gave in a year ago and the results love the results. It's a bit pricey, but I'm happy with my skin. Here is a link to where I buy it. https://jordanwelker.myrandf.biz/Shop/REDEFINE

I have tried so many products on my skin. But I am not completely satisfied with any product. Then my friend recommends me Clinique products. I am so glad that I found the Clinique product. It has been clinically proven that has no side effects. I love my Clinique products. Check out their website: www.cliniquebonustime.com

There are tons of products that we can actually find anywhere ... What matters is how you actually do a little research first, what is this product, is this good for your skin and if you know someone who have actually used it. Just to share a bit about the products that I am using. I have a sensitive skin so all the products that was recommended should be odorless and colorless which means this are mostly free from any potential allergens. And since I'm on my early 30's i have now spotted some fine lines and for that I am using Triple Action Vitamin C Serum by VoilaVe, a friend of mine shared it when she ordered hers at Amazon. Vitamin C Serum is an anti aging ingrdient and it's a powerful Anti-oxidant that works on the collagen synthesis and fades pigmentation on the surface of the skin. Check this out too :)

Skin care products which suits your skin and give good results are always your favorite one. My skin is dry and i tried many products but nothing suited my skin, then one of my friend suggested me to try Yllume luxury skin care products, i tried it for 2 weeks and got amazing results. Yllume products are made with natural ingredients and do not have any side effects. So, i will also suggest to everyone to go for luxury products if you really love your skin and want it to always look younger forever.

I have also tried several kinds of products with 3-7 steps. Never completely satisfied with the results with the amount of money I spent. My cousin introduced me to a product she had been using and was getting great results. The nice thing is it is simple and effective. I wash my face at night and put on the night cream, then in the morning I rinse my face and put on the day cream. It not only has been proven to help with wrinkles, but also texture and discoloration. I am loving my Nerium.

It solves the many step products out there and 30 day guarantee is great. Clinical study shows an average of 30% improvement which is impressive. I use a product that compares with Nerium only it offers a 35% average improvement but we have seen up to 78% improvement in 28 days. It goes on smoothly without the need for water, smells very nice (very light scent) and you don't need to wash it off. The routine is - cleans your skin and massage it in morning and night with 2 pumps each time. For all skin types, non toxic, easy to use. L'dara is very new. AMA tested and acknowledged by some pretty impressive people.

If you can find a serum that gives you an unconditional money back guarantee to try it then it can be a no-risk adventure. If the product really has clinical studies by a 3rd party that proves results and not just science claims, then the choice is even easier. As well, if the ingredients are safe and free from: the use of parabens, mineral oils, paraffin, nitrosamines, phthalates, triclosan, synthetic colours or fragrances, SLS, SLES, or animal-derived ingredients. I have looked at quite a few and there's not many that fall into my criteria.

I found it overwhelming when I went to the skin care counters in the big stores - they all claimed to do the same thing! I asked a fine young lady about what results to expect from her well-known product line. She told me that I would start to see results probably into my 3rd month - it would cost me over $100. a month to maybe see some results? I was pretty frustrated. I heard from a friend what she was using and showed me some before and after pictures - results in under 4 weeks and only $90. spent. So I decided to try it too. Loving it so far!

Avoid the disappointment of buying a skin care product that ends up producing very little result: read the back of the package label! The back label lists all active as well as  inactive ingredients in a product: The active and main ingredients are usually listed first. These are the ingredients that come in the highest concentration and to be listed as an active main ingredient, a concentration of 1% or greater is needed, but this isn’t always the case. If an ingredient falls near the end of the ingredient list, it is usually present in a very low concentration and may not be effective. So for example, if your favorite Vitamin C serum has Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid listed towards the middle or the end of the ingredients deck, it may not be packing as much of a punch as you'd like. Buyers beware... The inactive ingredients listed are used for some other purpose than the product's main intent. They may be used to preserve the product, increase shelf life, enhance its color or its fragrance. Spend a little time reading the labels, and know what you are really putting on your skin! Look for brands that are organically preserved using Rooibos, Green Tea, White Tea or Pomegranate Extract. Look for brands that avoid unnecessary chemicals and are toxin-free. If you are looking online at products, make sure that they have a glossary and know their ingredients. Use brands that are affiliated with organizations that are dedicated to organic, natural and full disclosure. For instance, the Organic Trade Association, Green Products Alliance and American Botanical Council. See if they have signed the Truth in Labelling Pledge with the Natural Ingredients Resource Center or the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics Pledge. Also stick with brands that use pure, unadulterated essential oils to scent their products.

You do not need to break the bank in order to have the right products for your skin type and skin tone.

Read the ingredient labels on your products, and don’t believe everything you read online or in the consumer press; if in doubt, ask your esthetician. Don’t follow every new fad which comes out, or you will be putting combinations of ingredients on your face that may do more harm than good.

The best tip that I can give is to read labels and educate yourself by doing research on products that you plan to purchase.

Read! Read! Read! Internet blogs are a great way to find information from women who don't know you and are willing to share their experience with the products they have used. They also aren't getting paid for their information. Friends mean well, but what works for them may not work for you. Dermatologists all seem to agree on Neutrogena and Aveeno as good brands for all skin types. Department store lines such as Clarins offer samples to try and train their beauty advisors on the functions of the skin as well as their products.
